iSmash Syracuse — Attraction in Town of Geddes

I gave 3/5 stars SPECIFICALLY because of our AGE group and personal experience so please keep that in mind adults! I had a party for my sons 9th birthday so the main age range was 7-10 with his 4 year old brother tagging along. We did the black light paint room which is ages 3+. First impressions are everything and upon entering , for the children , it has tattoo parlor/haunted house vibes. One child ran out of the building. The man working the desk could not put the pizza down to help the surge of parents for our large party. We had called to report around 20 kids and due to weather and little league being canceled ended up with 23 which was far too many on our part. BUT regardless, they are NOT accommodating or children friendly. The loud smashing scared the kids (didn’t know what to expect for sound) and there was broken glass everywhere in the back room where you walk to the “party room”. The staff is definitely not use to kids and seemed quite annoyed and some very unhelpful. We had to find our own garbage cans etc and had minimal direction. All in all, I would never hold a child under 10s birthday part here and would expect more direction from the staff prior - like keep it under 15 people and here is how it will go and fyi we keep the back doors open so maybe have multiple chaperones. The experience was fun. But I wish I would of known alot more about this place before I paid over 600 dollars for 4 people and I only paid that much because the omega smash had a full HD video of the session and then I added on a birthday add on and when we got there we didn't have the birthday add on and I asked multiple times about the video and not once did they tell me that the cameras wasn't working even after the session I asked multiple times just to make sure about the video and was told that it will go to my email I said after 72 hrs right and the guy said no 48 hrs so I've waited 5 days and still nothing I called to talk to someone and they refunded me for the birthday add on I just wish I was told about this prior to paying over 600 dollars it was fun but now that I know I could of had have the same experience and pay half of what I paid abd still have the same experience drives me a little crazy but I guess I know for next time so I won't be getting the video footage I wish I would of left one of our phones on record since we will never get that opportunity again and the paint session you really do not need 50 minutes for the amount of...

I had the time of my LIFE smashing things here the other evening. I was feeling a little weary walking in, I’d never done something like this before. The staff member on site was extremely personable and quick to make me feel right at home! Dominic educated my group and I on how to stay safe while we smashed everything in sight (extremely helpful) and he even hooked us up with a couple extra products another group didn’t use!

We found throwing glass bottles to be the most enjoyable, second to maybe hitting electronics with the bat. You have no idea how good it feels to break glass until you get in there. All my life’s problems were solved in an instant.

I highly highly recommend the smash rooms, we all had such a blast and Dominic went above and beyond to make our experience something memorable. Thank you iSmash, we’d return just for the customer...
