China Pavilion — Restaurant in Town of Geddes

Good food, but the waitress that I saw today 7/5/20 around 5 pm. She knows who she is, if she reads this review. She was by far the most nastiest and rudeness person I ever met. I ordered Egg Foo Young, and I specifically said no onions in any of my food. The food comes out, there is onions everywhere. When I went to go tell her about it, she immediately responds by saying “I should have told her and the onions is always in egg foo young, suggesting that it’s my fault that she did not listen to what I said the first time. She had absolutely no emotion or empathy for the customer. Other places leave onions out if you ask them. She had no note pad either, or gloves either, so it doesn’t surprise me that she forgot the details of my order. Horrible customer service. Also, they charge you double to dine inside, so do not dine here, do take out only. The food here is decent, as I ate here for a few months now. However, after tonight’s experience, I will never eat at this place again. Not until something is done with that waitress. Thanks...

Outstanding Chinese food that has never once disappointed in all the years we've been going in to sit down and eat. Take out, on the other hand, has been less than stellar, being why I can't give 5 Stars here. We seldom opt for take out (if we eat at home, it's because we're cooking usually), but with each of the past 3 times we've ordered take out, one item or meal has been wrong or missing.

Tonight, 3rd strike, my wife's dinner was replaced by an order of Fried Rice, and upon calling for a replacement for the unordered rice, I was charged full price on a second meal when I had to drive back and pick up what I had already paid, and pay for it a second time. Sick wife and child at home, I paid and left, getting home with what turned into a $20 plate of vegetable lo mein, to have to reheat all of the rest of the food.

Fantastic place to eat in, but you may want to consider elsewhere for take out, if you don't automatically check your order before even leaving...

Was extremely impressed with this place. The food is made fresh and comes out nice and hot. My first visit was with my friend who used to go here often years ago with her family. I was sick with a nasty cold and made sure to order the hot and sour soup with my meal. When we were finishing up our meal the owner stopped at our table and recognized my friend, even though she hasn't been there in years! I told her how much I loved the place and how it hit the spot when feeling sick. She asked if I got the hot and sour soup for my cold. I told her yes and that it was delicious. She brought me over an extra cup of soup to take home with me! We also raved about their tea and she made us another pot to enjoy before leaving. I was so beyond impressed with the food and the customer service. Since then we try to stop here for a meal whenever we can, and it never disappoints. I can see why they've been in business for...
