I want to start my review by saying Thanks a lot to Sportime USA staff. This place is amazing! My son Brandon who turned 7 in January od 2016 had his birthday party at Sportime USA. I dont even know where to start because everything was great. We had about 21 kids in the party from the start the host was extremedly friendly to the kids and very attentive to the parents and all guests. She was very organized. She started greeting all of them at the door and directing them into the party room. The party room was very nice and we had very good space. Host helped us with coats and all since they even had a spot for that. Kids had their food first which was very good and convenient to get it from the same place. After eating the host explained the kids what they were doing right after that. I have to tell you all those kids were so happy when she said they were going to the Lazer Tag. I did not go in the Lazer tag but all the kids came out extremedly happy and with a lot of exciment. After that they were to the bumb cars and you had to see their faces...their smiles, they were just enjoying all so much. My son seem so happy that his friends were loving this place and his birthday actually turned out to be one of the best and best of what he could of imagine. They also got a game card that the host gave to all of them with money to play arcade games and OMG they just felt like they had just won a prize, and after playing the arcades from each machine they got tickets were they actually do collect a prize which they get to choose from the prize store. I have to say that this has been the best of all the Birthdays my son had and he had it in many places before but Sportime USA is excellent for all ages and the kids really enyoy it. The price of everything is very considerable and is worth paying for it. This place is amazing and their staff makes it even better. The management of this place is very on top of making sure the guests enjoy themselfs. Also SAFETY was a a mayor concern to them which as a parent made me feel with no streess of mind. I would highly recommed this place if you are thinking of having a party or even just to go for fun. PS: Their parking lot is huge and location is very convenient...

We hosted a party at Sportstime USA and were shocked by how little value we got for the price. The party room was bare and depressing—white lighting, grey walls, no decorations, no warmth. It felt more like a medical facility than a place for kids to celebrate. They don’t allow enough time to decorate, which might be fine if the space were festive, but it’s not. Even minimal wall decals or bright accents could have transformed the space. It felt lazy and thoughtless, as if the management had never considered... children.
The supplies were cheap—flimsy paper plates that looked like an afterthought. For what parents pay, the setup should feel joyful, intentional, welcoming... for kids. Even basic upgrades from a discount store would’ve made a huge difference. I felt embarrassed by the setup, as if we were hosting a party with scraps.
Service was equally disappointing. When I asked for a lemonade for myself, the hostess kept pushing drinks for adults instead. I’d already paid for the kids. Why was it so difficult to get a simple drink as the coordinator without being pressured to spend more? It felt tasteless and transactional, not hospitable at all. You can tell she had zero customer service and social skills, but i suppose that's another conversation regarding todays generation. Overall, it’s hard to imagine that anyone involved in running this venue has invested any time thinking about what makes a space feel joyful or welcoming for families.. for kids. The service and setup did not reflect the price paid, and I left feeling let down. I am convinced the high ratings were a reflection of a previous management and owner.
I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Families deserve better and the value simply...
Read moreThe original Sportime in Eleanor’s was a legendary local spot. Every kid growing up in the 90s remembers going to at least one birthday party there. I can remember back to when they had the mini golf course and smoking was allowed in the billiards room. I also remember not being tall enough to see the screen on the 6-player X-Men arcade, and scoured the arcade for a booster box to stand on. I’ve climbed the rock wall numerous times, and dreamed of winning enough tickets for the ultimate GoKart grand prize one day.
Sadly, those days are long gone and what we are left with today at the Ardsley location is a strange shell of its former self. As you pull up, you’ll notice there’s next to no signage at all for Sportime. Just “Lifetime” stuff whatever that is.
When you go in, it’s a large space, but a very small percentage is dedicated to the decade. Most of it seems to be event space. Boring!
There’s still a rock climbing wall that I’d like to try one day, and some climbing areas for kids.
The arcade, however, is not good. 2 stars at best. A bunch of games weren’t working. One still had a setup screen displayed. Another the screen was completely. Role but still on. Claw games with zero grips. Small selection overall. Sad compared to its heyday, and compare to how much space they have.
I say this not to hope they fail - but rather hoping some sort of decent arcade pops up...
