I recently visited Fallon for a men's haircut, and I must say that the quality of the haircut itself was excellent. The stylist did a great job in understanding my preferences and delivering a haircut that suited me perfectly. However, I had an unfortunate customer service experience that left me disappointed.
A day before my scheduled appointment, an unexpected last-minute job came up in my construction company, and I had to prioritize it. Unfortunately, this resulted in a no-show on my part, for which I take full responsibility. Shortly after, I received a call from Amanda, an employee at the salon, who informed me about the missed appointment.
Amanda presented me with two options: either pay an additional 50% of the service cost or cancel my next appointment, which was only four hours away. Given the suddenness of the situation, I found these options to be quite inconvenient. I understand the importance of honoring appointments, but I believe that a more flexible and understanding approach could have been taken, especially considering the circumstances.
Ultimately, I decided to cancel my next appointment, and it's regrettable that this incident has led me to seek another hairdresser. The quality of the haircut itself was commendable, and I would have gladly continued visiting Fallen if it weren't for this unsatisfactory customer service experience.

Making 9 girls from the Bronx happy is nearly impossible and yet that is EXACTLY what happened with Purity!! I know when you are looking for a new salon you need to rely on reviews and gut instinct before you put your hair in a new stylists hands. Let me say I got the royal treatment at Purity Hair Design. The shop is on a cute street and has a great atmosphere. I was immediately offered a refreshment and only waited a minute before Amanda brought me back to her chair. She took 45 minutes discussing my new cut and color. She truly cared about my experience and achieving just the right look that I would love. I showed her pictures, she showed me some of her own, we played with different swatches and even discussed my ideal maintenance schedule of my new desired look. Who does that?! She was so thorough.
