I went to pick up my prescription here today and was told it was at another Walgreens. Asked if I could have the prescription moved to this Walgreens and I was informed that it could be. The prescription medication would not be ready for 30 minutes and I could come back for it. I told the technician Nottoway move yhe prescription I would go pick it up at yhe other pharmacy because I wanted to get it before the snow started. I drove 20 minutes to the other pharmacy and was told that it was at the pharmacy in Guilderland. I almost cried (because I wastired and hungry) and they said they could call it back and it would be ready in 20 minutes. I said no I would go back to the other store. I called to confirm that the prescription was there and I was on hold the first time for 53 minutes and the call got disconnected. Now I'm on hold for the second time and I have been on hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes. 30 minutes was a lunch break but the message said my call would be answered in the order it was received but the lunch time message said I was next in the que and yet that was 30 minutes ago. I remain on hold as we speak. I will be moving my scripts as convenient as this location is it is not worth the time...
   Read moreI placed an order for pick up with Walgreens Photo, unfortunately there was a mix up at Walgreens because of another order that I had placed online and I had to cancel this one. I tried cancelling the order online and they asked me to call the store. The store has only one phone number on google, so I called and was on hold for about 10 minutes. When someone finally picked up, it was the Pharmacy so they redirected me to another department. There again I was put on hold, when someone picked up, I was again speaking to the pharmacy department instead of the photo department. After being put on hold again, finally someone put me in contact with the manager who just refused to understand my predicament and refused to cancel my order. So after waiting for 20 minutes, they did not even help me. The customer service is horrible and the staff seriously lack empathy. Think 10 times before ordering...

I went to pick up a prescription and told the Pharmacy tech at least twice I have coupon from Good Rx. My wife and I got the feeling she was trying to force the transaction. When she came back and asked which card, I asked how much since she never took the coupon. When I reminded her about the coupon, she said the transaction already went through.
They brought over the pharmacist. She wouldn't even look at the coupon and insisted I had paid the higher price last time (not sure what that had to do with it for this transaction). Finally she asked for the BIN number and insisted the price on the coupon was the higher price even though it was crossed it with a lower price.
I've been hearing for awhile this Walgreen's is short staffed. However they always worked hard to get you best price. Not sure what...
