Buffalo Raceway — Attraction in Town of Hamburg

The prices are worse than disgusting. Absolutely highway robbery. $5 for a 50 cent bag of popcorn. $4 for a 12oz can of soda. HORRIFIC!!! Charging both admission AND event fees on top of that. Just awful. The security checks at the gates are an absolute JOKE!!! My brother, an officer of law, proved this by bringing a knife in. (regardless of the idiots selling them there!!!) In essence you're not allowed to bring in a 'lethal weapon' but you're allowed to purchase one while you're there. They can check all the bags they want but even the strollers they searched in my presence were barely glanced at. Someone could easily sneak in anything from as little as a knife (if they didn't buy one there 🙄) to as big as a bomb. Completely ineffective, absolutely useless and a worthless waste of resources. We come to this location for multiple different events primarily most of which is the shrine circus and Erie county Fair, the property is well maintained well kept and clean. Bathrooms during major events have an attendant in them to make sure that they are not falling into disrepair. and due to the size of the grounds it allows for a very large fair to attend which usually takes at least two days to get through everything! and if you have children I would highly recommend showing tenie of Ben's the staff at this location always goes above and...

The Erie County Fair is the best Fair in our Country. The glass blowing is simply amazing! There not in a very good place this year. In the middle of the black top.
