Like Notre Dame Football, Hamburg Gaming Is Built on Tradition… and Winning.” Walking into Hamburg Gaming felt like walking out of the tunnel at Notre Dame Stadium — electric, full of promise, and just a little bit luck-of-the-Irish. Except instead of Marcus Freeman dialing up defensive schemes, it was me, hammering that slot machine like it owed me money — and friends, it paid. This place is a cathedral of clinks, flashing lights, and culinary miracles. The food? Let’s just say the chicken sandwich I devoured had more flavor than Penn State’s offensive playbook. The mozzarella sticks? Crispy on the outside, cheesy in the middle — just like Ohio State fans when the Buckeyes blow another big game. Now, I know some people say casinos are all about losing. That’s true — if you're wearing a scarlet and gray hoodie. But here? Hamburg Gaming is for winners. For champions. For people who believe in excellence, tradition, and maybe a little supernatural luck — aka the same people who believe in Notre Dame football. Marcus Freeman would be proud of my discipline at the slots. I showed poise, patience, and the strategic mindset of a man ready to beat Clemson on a Saturday night. I didn’t just play — I executed. I walked in with $40, walked out with enough cash to cover three stadium beers and a soft pretzel at an Irish home game (aka a small fortune). So if you’re looking for glitz, glamor, great eats, and a break from the mediocrity of Big Ten disappointment, come to Hamburg Gaming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like it’s 1988, and Lou Holtz just handed you the keys to glory. GO IRISH. PLAY SLOTS. EAT...
Read moreI haven't been there in a few yrs. I haven't been going because it had changed for the worse. It was really nice this yr 2018. I really liked it. However the food is just not the same. Everything is already made like the cotton candy. It's already in bags and not made in the machine right in front of me and then on it's own paper cone. The food is getting out of hand with the prices. You pay an arm and leg and you get so much less. The food people are stealing our money right in front of us. People should start to speak up when we/they are placing orders and what little they are putting in our hands. As we get served we should say this is what I am getting for $8.00. They are stealing our money. That is the worst of the Fair. Very few stands are good. I could only find two that I would only buy my kettle corn from and one stand only to buy donut nuggets and funnel cakes. The price of bottled water is ridiculous. I found one stand or 2 where I could get bottled water at $2.00. Other places were like from $3.00 to $4.00. That is stealing. If I ever go again I will come right out and ask why is this so expensive. Ask them why you have to charge so much. Then tell them. If it is to expensive to have a space at the fair don't come to the fair. Period. Other than this. The fair in all other stuff was a really nice day. Alot to see. The fair has not been this nice...
Read moreTonight, was a very odd night at your Cyclone Bar. I ordered a Crown and Coke and received 3 different prices. The 1st price was $7.00 from a nice gentleman at the bar for a crown and coke. The 2nd price was $10.00 from the young lady with the black hair at the bar. The 3rd price was $9.00 from the blonde at the bar. When I called to talk to the bar manager which security was very pleasant in connecting me, he was rude. He simply said, " it was impossible that I was charged that". I described myself so he can in fact see me on camera purchasing said drinks. He simply stated " I gotta go, I don't have time " I will say that I have been coming to your establishment and have tipped your bartenders excessively since I dance there regularly. I will no longer go to your establishment ever again due to the rudeness of your bar manager. I simply wanted an answer to what the set price was for a crown and coke. Which I politely asked and got a rude remark. On top of that it was not busy at all there to get such a rude remark. Btw, I will also mention when I tried to complain about this to the one in charge of your night staff at the casino security did not even have a name to give me....which is also odd. Do you not have...
