Bowline Point Park — Attraction in Town of Haverstraw

The worst place ever! Never go here because you gonna pay for nothing and just leave. We got there to swim in the swimming pool they charged us to enter the park $32 and couldn’t even tell how long we gonna wait to enter the pool, also they didn’t say anything about the fact they won’t refund. Two teenagers who were there selling tickets just said we don’t know how long you gonna wait , not even stopped scrolling their phones while talking to us. Customer service 0/100. When we asked for a refund they said no and said you can wait for an hour to see if we would be able to enter the swimming pool. And it’s 90 degrees outside!!! It’s very disorganised and seems like the place is operated by kids who don’t know nothing about planning and customer service. Haha this place is a freaking joke. Don’t waste your time....

Today, I came with my task trained service dog to Bowline Point Park. Instead of being able to enjoy my time walking around I was approached by 5 separate staff members claiming I can not be here with my service dog unless I have "papers" "In New York, a public accommodation may ask you if your dog is a service animal, if it's not clear. However, you may not be required to present a license, document, or other proof that your animal is a service animal." According to federal and state laws, they are not allowed to require paperwork for any service animals. Please educate your staff. Best time of year now. Virtually deserted, bracing winds off the river, bare trees allowing a plentitude of light, occasional Raptors prowling overhead. The sinuous interconnected trails afford the walker a chance to choose her own path.Summer is restricted to town residents, odd, since a panoply of state and county agencies make the park possible. Other facilities, softball fields, full court outdoor basketball, rec center,...
