Tacos Marianita — Restaurant in Town of Haverstraw

Their chorizo tacos are my favorite. It is very hard to find a Mexican spot out here with tasty longaniza. I lived in Cali for a while and when I came back this place was the only one that came close to having tasty longaniza. Their mango, pineapple, and guava agua frescas are made to order and fresh every time. Their tortas are not bad either nice and big and fill you up. We've tried an entree here and there and I have to say we weren't impressed. The rice and beans they serve lack flavor. The service is more or less good depending on who you get. Sometimes they are a little slow with bringing out your food especially when they are busy. They give you chips and salsa whenever you sit down to order but sometimes forget to bring them right away or at all. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We’ve been here before and every time, it just gets better. This visit we had the torta and tacos de lengua, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The torta was packed with flavor and perfectly toasted, and the lengua tacos were melt-in-your-mouth tender. The customer service is always so friendly and genuine. This place is a hidden gem!! The place is small and cozy with the best customer service; the waitress who served us was so friendly and amazing and made sure everything was good. We ordered steak that came cooked sizzling with onions and peppers and a side of rice and beans and salad. We also got a chicken cutlet sandwich that was huge! We were given complimentary tortillas on the side. The food was fresh and delicious. We had to wait 10-15 mins for the food but it was totally worth it.
