I would not recommend this salon for individuals with Type 4C hair, as they do not seem to have the proper knowledge or techniques to handle it with care. I visited on 3/8/25 for a wash and set and was initially pleased with how quickly I was attended to. The shampoo and conditioning process went smoothly, but things took a turn when it came to detangling.

A different stylist took over at this stage, and unfortunately, she did not handle my hair properly. I only realized the extent of the issue once I sat in front of the mirror. She was using a fine-tooth comb, starting from the roots and forcefully pulling through, causing excessive tangling and breakage. I lost a significant amount of hair, and it was clear she was aware of the damage as she carefully avoided dropping the hair on the floor, to conceal just how much was coming out.

Im a frequent costumer, there is one stylist who is polite and does her job no problems - now theres another stylist along with the owner of the business who consistently likes to put her costumers down as soon as their exiting the salon. They both like to gossip about how nappy the hair is and like to criticize costumers weight. They do alot of body shaming in that salon. I find that very unprofessional. How would u like to go somewhere to go and get your hair done while being put down the minute you walk out not to mention one customers whole relationship was put on blast as soon as she left saying her boyfriend is also datin another one of her customers and this is consistent. Bad professionalism. I feel bad for the ladies that were mentioned. I soon decided to look for someone else and came across a salon thats more professional her name is Elvira!

Rosa is the only place I will go to for Keratin Treatments. I’ve been her client for over 2 years. She does an excellent job. She doesn’t rush at all. The atmosphere in her salon is so relaxed and friendly. She maintains this by offering a cup of coffee or playing really cool music. I would recommend her to anyone.

Years later I’m still coming to Rosa’s beautiful shop. She does my color and keratin. The shop is lively with music and friendly staff. I would say people of all ethnic groups and hair types will love her work. ...
