Associated Supermarkets of Rockville Centre — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I’ll think twice before going back to this supermarket. The much older man working tonight hates his job so much he thought it was ok to talk rudely to a customer . She was trying to pay at self check out but there was a issue with their new self check out machine . He says to her “your cards no good”! 4 times …Loud enough for me to hear and everyone else. She told them 3x can you try again at a different register he said I don’t see why would we do that”, he’s disgusting! Even the kid ringing her up apologized to her ! Not ok ! The supermarket already lacks selection but the poor customer service doesn’t...

So by the time I get home from work it is 6pm. I get there at 650pm . And I dont know if the manager is too lazy or not qualified enough to turn on the scale or the seafood scale has some kind of time sensitive locking mechanism attached to it. But u have a huge bin of shrimp on display behind a peice of glass. And a customer who wants 3 pounds of shrimp that is staring at 3 pounds of shrimp after asking a worker and a manager is told sorry. It's litteraly right there but the only man capable of grabbing handfuls of shrimp and weighing it has gone home...

I was curious about this market, passed it for years daily. Guess there was a reason why I never stopped in there. It was my first and must say my last visit to this establishment. Picked up some bananas, strawberries, blueberries grapes ,butter, goldfish crackers, ranch dressing, hot chocolate , grits, celery, cookie dough, and my bill was $98.00. This establishment is still with covid prices. Never again will I visit here. I feel sorry for the people that live nearby that don't know any better!!!! Manhattan prices...
