I hadn’t filed 2023 for my small business and I was already SOOOO LATE for 2024. I called three other accountants before Dylan for consultations on my specific business tax needs. One of them treated me like I was some kind of villain for inquiring on how to SAVE money on my taxes. Another guy was arrogant about how I wanted to file my small business because “he knew better” and the extra paperwork was probably annoying for him especially since I was a new client right before the BUSY September 15th deadline. I was tired of hearing that judgmental tone over the phone like “why are you filing so late? why didn’t you originally open your business as an s-corp instead of an LLC? it’s too late to do that! blah blah blah!” I needed someone with a CAN-DO attitude. This year’s tax season I was in need of a new CPA, and after having some issues in the past with taxes and wanting to be very thorough to make sure there were no mistakes and that I would still get as much back/owe as little as possible, I knew I needed to have someone highly reputable, who knew what they were doing prepare my taxes for me.
