This place is extremely unprofessional!!! I came here as a last minute run for my photo shoot. I needed a long wig with bangs, I knew exactly what I wanted. As I am trying on my wig the women working in that section asked if i needed any help. I told her NO !! She was very persistent in helping almost in a forceful and uncomfortable way. As I am trying on the wig i know I wanted she tells me it's looks horrible almost "old school" "grandmotherish" being that I am an indecisive person. I listened to her opinion. She shows me another wig that was not my style at all and basically force me to get it. Because every wig I told her I wanted she would say they did not have it in black and i really needed one for my shoot. I finally bought the short wig which wasn't really what I wanted but once again for some reason the women that helped me claimed they didn't have any of the wigs I wanted when she clearly showed another woman the same exact wig and then told me they didn't have it. So I go home and show my mom dad sis and brother the wig. they hated it so I decided to go back and exchange which it is printed on the receipt that you CAN exchange. I get back to the store and the manger tells me they don't do exchanges on wigs specifically. I showed him the receipt which it is not on he then shoes me where it is on the receipt which is where the ink barley printed to the point you can't see it. Then he points to a sign that says no exchanges. Mind you i was in the store for 1 hour and the sign was not there I saw them put up the sign after I left the first time but I was half way out the door and didn't know what it was. I told him the sign wasn't there and that i just simply wanted to exchange even for a more expensive wig he specifically told me ABOSULETLY NOT THE WIG IS DAMAGED!!! SO I ASKED HIM WHY WOUKD HE SELL ME A DAMAGED WIG!! HE DOESN'T ANSWER!!! MIND YOU I JUST BOUGHT THE WIG 10 MINUTES AGO I LIVE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. THE WIG WAS ALREADY EXCHANGED AND I SAW THE FIRST RECEIPT WHICH MARKED IT DOWN FROM 65 TO 30 TO 26. SO CLEARLY OTHER WOMAN DID NOT LIKE THIS WIG. BY THIS POINT TWO YOYNG AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN ARE WALKING TOWARD ME AS IF THEY ARE GOING TO GRAB ME TO GET OUT THE STORE. I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG BUT TRY TO EXCHANGE A WIG I DIDN'T WANT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMOND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS BEAUTY SUPPLY. THE MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS ONLY THE MONEY THERE ARE PLENTY OF BEAUTY for example 3W W Merrick Rd, Valley Stream, NY 11580. They have great wigs and car about the customers. The cashier proceeded to open the product and looking in it to see as if i opened and use and now bringing the product back. She explain their policy NOT A PROBLEM. I then proceeded to asked âwhat happen if a customer picked up the wrong productâ, both employees look at each other smiled and proceeded to say âwell too bad for themâ I was taking back because thatâs not the answer I would expect from a employee to say to a customer. She then proceeded to try to take the product and put it behind the cash register soo not only I wasnât going to get my money back but the product too. I donât like complaining customers but when employees are rude and nasty to customers I see why complaining customers exist. I read the receipt âNo Refund; Exchange w/i 7 days with receipt; no return on a list of itemsâ. I thought ok, Iâm good itâs just conditioner and still sealed. Went to the store today to exchange, I picked up the product I wanted and went to register to be told âNo i canât exchange because we donât exchange liquid chemical.â I was a bit confused conditioner a liquid chemical? I didnât purchase bleach. âTold them no problem, Iâll dispute with my bank.â I left. Buyers be awareâŚtheir store policy is final sale. If you choose to purchase here donât make an mistakes, you will be stuck with your product. If you have the same issue as me and you paid with a debit or credit card, dispute the charge with your bank and request that they do a chargeback. I called my bank right after the visit and got my money back already.
