I usually go to this location without a problem. However, this was a very bad experience. First, they weren't allowing people to order in-person. So, I (along with many others) had to order on the app, which was not a big deal (they immediately re-opened in-person orders after I ordered on the app). I placed my order at 5:50 pm, with a pick-up time of 6:15 pm. This order wasn't ready until 6:35 pm, after me constantly asking for it.
I then checked the order, and they completely messed it up (chicken and steak salad bowl with everything except sour cream and guacamole became chicken burrito bowl with only rice, sour cream, and guacamole). I had to return to the store and ask for the manager to get it fixed because the server and cashier said they couldn't fix it. The manager was exceptional, as she apologized upon looking at my bowl and fixed it immediately.
On top of everything, they were not doing a good job with allowing for social distancing. The food pick-up location was behind the wall in front of the cashier, which is right next to the to-go serving station. The tables were clearly labeled for pick-ups by last name, but the staff apparently didnt feel the need to use it. Also, the woman placing the orders on the shelf refused to call the names out. Instead, customers had to call names out to help the congestion. At one point, no less than 20 people were huddled together; those preparing the food, customers looking for their pick-up orders on the shelves, customers trying to pay at the cashier, and people on line trying to still order.
It was a very bad experience, which I assume was just a bad day considering I've never had this happen at prior visits. I just hope they fix their social...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've never been to this location during the daytime hours. However, the times I have come in the evenings and into the night, it is always messy. The seating area is always dirty and messy. The food service area always has food alo over, it doesn't look fresh. One time, i recommended to the server to stir the food so it doesn't look dry, and she said, "For what." They ran out of rice, and I was told 15 minutes on the rice. So I waited. When the rice came up, it was soggy and clumped. They didn't have any more guacamole, and the guy said they ran out an hour ago and it was only 9 pm. I asked another employee about the guacamole, and he said they could make some if I really wanted it. (REALLY?) it's 9 pm and the store cloesa at 11 pm and you ran out around 8 pm. I'm sure corporate wouldn't be happy with that. This particular store needs better management and the teenagers/young adults that work there should have better guidance, training, and problem solving skills. This used to be a great spot now it just grab n go for deliveries, and the sit-down part is gone. They...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTotally disgusted at the fact that the servers and apparent supervisor on shift wanted to charge extra for more beans. I've been to several other restaurants in various locations and have never been told that it was extra for more beans in fact I've read all over the internet and I've seen where it was supposedly a part of the brand that they would not charge for extra beans or veg. Only extra meat. But this shows you that operators based in areas that are prominently minority areas take advantage and abuse it's customer base by charging extra for things that operators in other areas catering to other clientele would never dream of doing because the customers would not stand for it. I've seen the same behaviors from several chain restaurants in minority areas. It's horrible and they should be ashamed of themselves and the customers need to make them pay by not patronizing because of the type of behavior. Im so disgusted. They just lost a...
