This park has a nice historic trail with signs telling the story. There is a small village area with homes that you can tour, and this area is paid admission only. I have my 2 little dogs and skipped the village. The walk around the park was plenty to do. The view of the water was nice and relaxing. There is a museum near the parking lot. There is also a monument between the village and the large parking area, close to the smaller parking lot next to the water. When you walk the oval shapes trail, there is a section that branches away from the park toward the wster, and not too far of a walk is another monument close to some homes. This park is very clean.
