Here is a 100% honest review of my experience. Good bad and ugly… I placed my order on a Monday and somehow didn’t put the date I wanted them shipped. Someone reached out to me quickly by email and asked me for the info. They were set to arrive on Saturday. On Friday morning I got shipping/tracking info and was excited. The next day around 4:30pm the lobsters were delivered. I immediately opened the package to see how everything did in transit. First thing I noticed was nothing was very cold. I dug to bottom and found the ice, gel pack inside was completely thawed and warm. However, there was movement amongst the lobsters so I had Hope. The first two on top were Alive but not quite kicking… more like, hanging on. The next two were completely limp. Of the final two, one was hanging on and one was a real trooper snapping his tail open and shut. 1/6. I cooked in seafood restaurants for 20 years and know that just because a lobster appears deceased doesn’t mean the meat is junk. I took the two limp ones and steamed them up. They cooked up firm and shucked the meat to use in some recipes. The other 4 were placed in the bottom of my fridge to be cooked the next day as planned. By noontime the next day, one more appeared dead but I knew it would be ok. Cooked them up and we enjoyed our lobsters! Living in AZ it is quite a treat to get fresh lobster. Now… when I opened the package I took several pictures and when I realized there were a couple that didn’t survive the trip I made a short video of them. I sent that off to customer service via email and let them know what happened. I didn’t ask for a refund or credit because I figured they’d be ok, which they were. The next day I got an email telling me the only way to get a refund was to send a “complete uncut video of the entire opening and unpacking of each lobster” guess that would’ve been nice to know ahead of time. I replied and reminded them that I wasn’t asking for anything but sent the video for informational purposes. Also said I didn’t appreciate the inference that I did anything underhanded. Because letting me know you wouldn’t “take my word for it” is just as shoddy. They replied and we had a back and forth about my displeasure with how they responded to me. They need to tell their customers to film the opening just in case there is an issue. Otherwise, how would anyone know? And again, I was not asking for anything. So this sours the experience for me a bit. As a point of reference, I ordered a “lobster roll kit” from another Northeast lobster company and when it arrived it was completely thawed. I sent them an email and without questioning they offered me a replacement or credit. That replacement I accepted because the meat was not edible. Bottom line is, I know it’s difficult to send something fragile like lobster across the country but if it’s the entire function of your company then you should execute it flawlessly or be prepared to make it right. Will order from them again? Maybe. And I will be sure to video everything next time. The...

I received only 22.8 lbs of lobster instead of the 24–25 lbs advertised. To make matters worse, the package was delivered to the wrong address. After searching the neighborhood, we eventually got in touch with the neighbor — who was at work — to retrieve it.
I reached out to Lobsterboy and provided an unpacking video. Since I don’t have a food scale, I used a Weight Watchers body scale to measure the difference: first weighing myself alone, then again while holding the two bags of lobsters.
Here’s the response I received: “I am sorry that your package was left at a neighbor’s house by FedEx. Unfortunately, we do require a video of the box opening as well as a video of all lobsters shown on their backs and each one weighed on a food scale if weight is an issue to complete a claim.”
Bottom line — even with proof, they won’t make exceptions if you don’t follow their claim...

Just watched a gold coast lobster truck tailgating a small corolla staying a safe distance behind a landscaping truck. The lobster truck driver was waving his arms and swerving all over 25a in and out of his lane, almost hitting the lady in the corolla multiple time to try to get her to speed up. He then swung angrily into the back of the millpond restaurant. Just based on the dangerous actions and driving abilities, I would say stay away from this unethical company. They put people lives in danger, trying to get somewhere 2 seconds faster. They don't care about highway safety or you. Its all about them and their dollar. Not someone I would enterprise!!! Be safe out there long island. And get your lobster from someone else who drives and practices safety. (If you like my review, please...
