Si Yuang Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Typical Chinese takeout spot. Ordered ahead on the phone and the guy was rude. Parking lot was small but street parking is available. Food was okay, nothing special - I wouldn’t go out of the way to get it. I got lunch special that came with “pork fried rice” , but in the entire container, there was zero piece of pork- maybe it was just for the flavor? They gave me napkins from Dunkin’ Donuts- I get the money saving aspect of it, but really? Also, everyone else in the store who were getting their lunch got a can of soda with it, and the lady at the front specifically asked another guy “no soda for you?” But when I was picking up, she didn’t say anything. So I asked if my food came with anything, and she said “no” and pointed to the side table to grab my own fork. Maybe they got another menu item that came with a soda but….she was rude. OK I’ve been around the block a few times do not I repeat do not pass 232 Wall St. in Huntington without stopping at this restaurant. The food is beyond belief everything I ordered I ordered from every Chinese takeout and it was 50 to 100% better than any other place I’ve ever ordered from yes the price was a little higher but worth every penny it was absolutely scrumptious perfection I’ve never had so much tofu in my hot and sour soup and those ribs were so beefy to perfection I didn’t even have to use the duck sauce and yes unlike other Chinese food I wasn’t hungry an hour later! Definitely 10 stars 20 if I can give it. And the staff is so friendly and they’re really cool I love this place I’m going...

Agree with postings about the decline on quality over the past year. My parents and I got food from here for over 30 years. We even came back to take out from Si Yuang after we moved out of Huntington. Something changed in early 2017. Food became flavorless and seemed to have far less thought and quality ingredients.
