Essex Club — Attraction in Town of Islip

There are no real words to express how much this venue really impressed me we have done a few events with them before and they have always delivered but when we decided to hold our wedding we really got to see how incredible they really were Jessica Robert and Jansi where absolutely perfect, kind, attentive, it feels like in many ways they became a part of our family and we truly couldn’t be more grateful for everything they have done for us the food was incredible best i have ever had. All the staff was very friendly and appreciative. This is really the only stop for events and weddings

We have been frequenting The Essex Club for the last several years. We run small gatherings for our friends on a yearly basis. The thought of having our wedding there had always seemed an unattainable goal in our minds until Robert came to us with everything we'd need to get that done. We were blown away at the deals that were offered, and overnight what had become a distant dream of getting married became something actually obtainable due to the very fair prices and arrangements that the Essex club offered. They were with us every step of the way all the way from hiring the photographer, hiring the florist, hiring the bakery, and even hiring the DJ. They even hosted open nights to try out the various appetizers and food choices that were available to us!

From day one, this venue has always had our best interests in mind. It's why we've been coming back to them for years. They aren't just looking to get the maximum amount of money from you, and it's refreshing in this day and age to find a venue that not only cares that your event goes off without a hitch, but really makes you feel like you're valued members of their family.

Robert and the rest of the staff of this venue stand head and shoulders above any other venue for this quality. If we could get married twice, we'd do it here a second time. EVERYONE told us that something goes wrong on the wedding day. Not ours. Essex Club was perfect. Flawless even. The food was also incredible and they went out of their way to accommodate us if we needed to make any changes or substitutions.

I am still in awe, of the experience that I had a the Essex Club. We had our Family Reunion at the Essex Club on Sunday, July 10. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! The Food was Amazing!

From the first day, that I met Lauren, I knew that I was going to book my Reunion with the Essex Club. Her warm Smile and personal approach, assured me that everything was going to be perfect. Lauren aims to accommodate you and make you feel so comfortable, that just meeting with her calms your every anxiety. During my planning of the Reunion, My aunt passed away. My aunt was one of our Elders, that we were Celebrating. I called Lauren with the news and she instantly, without hesitation started addressing my concerns. Not once did I call or email her, and she didn’t respond within the hour. I am so Grateful to her. This Young Lady is a True Angel. The only way, that I can describe her is “ABOVE AMAZING”. The Essex Club, has acquired a “True Gem”. She is so young, with a Heart of Gold. She takes care of your catering experience, like she was doing it for herself. Lauren is a one of a kind.

Lauren couldn’t be there on the date of my event. But like I said, she takes her Catering personal. She left me with Rob. What a Joy!! Rob was there, for whatever and whenever we needed him. He catered to our every need. He even helped us, with an issue on our Charter Bus. To say that Rob was AMAZING, is an UNDERSTATEMENT.

I cannot say enough good things about the Essex Club (formerly Brentwood Country Club). The Essex club is an extremely affordable option compared to most places on Long Island. Living in Suffolk County, this is one of the few venues around that give off ballroom/ country club vibes. I had a bit of sticker shock when first getting quotes from venues and started to re think the whole having a big wedding thing, and then I came across the Essex Club. They have a great package and they are a Lessing’s venue. Not only was I able to get a great package, but because my wedding was the second week of November, I was able to get winter pricing compared to fall. This allowed me to book a Saturday night wedding without needing an insane minimum. Jessica at Essex club is truly amazing, and makes your day flawless with her attention to detail. I had a minor mishap with a different vendor day of the wedding and Jessica called them herself and had them fix it within 20 minutes, no questions asked. Because they only do one wedding at a time, their main focus is you all day and you are able to come to the venue 2 hours prior to your cocktail hour ( so no need for another place to take pictures). The food was amazing, and we got so many compliments. We had a very intimate wedding of about 100 people and the 10 tables of 10 was honestly the perfect fit.
