I recently visited El Paisita Bakery in Brentwood with a longtime friend who was showing me around his old neighborhood. This bakery was not there when he was a kid, but it is now right next to Tony’s, which was one of his all-time favorite pizza spots. After enjoying a slice there, we walked over and treated ourselves to a frozen horchata. It was delicious, refreshing, creamy, and perfectly spiced with just the right amount of sweetness.
