Perfect Body Laser & Aesthetics® — Attraction in Town of Islip

I wrote a review a while back but am deciding to write an updated review on my experience at Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics. The facility itself is beautiful and clean. The girls who operate the lasers are very sweet. However, unfortunately, I was just not satisfied with my overall results. I originally went in for a laser scar removal consultation, for a scar on my knee. The prices were very expensive. I was hesitant at first but I was willing to pay good money for good results. They sold me on a package of 4 laser treatments. I was told that I would see significant results and would be extremely happy with my investment. They estimated about an 80% improvement in the scar. You are supposed to wait a certain amount of time between the laser treatments for the best results. (I believe it is 6-8 weeks). I was a week or two late on some of the follow up appointments due to work, but I was told that would not make a difference in the results. After the initial package I was not satisfied with the results. I did not see the significant results that I was promised. I was told by the manager if I wanted to see greater results I would have to buy more individual treatments. Even though a lot of time had passed after my last laser treatment, I was told the individual treatments would still provide good results. Again I was hesitant but I got several more individual treatments over time, with no great result. I maybe see a 30-40% improvement after all those treatments and spending thousands of dollars. Upset with how much money I spent for such minor results I contacted the manager again. She then told me that the knee it is a hard area to treat and the scar may not get better than this. I was never made aware of this during my consultation or before any of my continuous purchases. I feel like I was pushed to buy more treatments and was continuously convinced that my scar would get better, until this point. She said there was nothing more that could be done unless I wanted to buy and try more treatments. Afterwards, I wrote a review about my experience and then the manager reached out and apologized. She offered me a free session using a different laser and asked me to take down my review until I saw the new results. Although I appreciate that, I still have not seen results. I can not speak on their other services but in my personal opinion I would not recommend this facility for laser scar removal. I do not believe they were transparent with me about the potential results before I made my purchases. Overall I do not believe the price of the treatments was worth the outcome. This is my real experience and I just want to make others aware so they can make an informed decision before...

I want to warn others before they make the huge, costly mistake I made. I went in to have loose skin on my abdomen addressed. I was sold 2 different treatments costing $13K for skin tightening on my abdomen. I went for all the sessions and gave it a couple months. Well all I can tell you is there is ZERO change. The money I spent would have covered the cost of surgery but I wanted to try a less invasive option. I can’t tell you how awful it is to know I spent my entire budget at this place and literally have nothing to show for it. My recommendation is to avoid this place. I truly wish I had 😥😥😥😥

Update: I want to clarify that I am not blaming the company at all. This is my personal experience - I spent $13,000 on 2 types of treatment and it made zero difference in loose skin on my stomach. I’m sure lots of people have great experiences there but I’m sharing my experience in case it helps someone out in the future. I did not go back for post treatment follow up because unfortunately I can’t spend any more money on services there. Also I want to add that I got a price of $25,000 for skin removal (maybe I have good insurance). That’s beside the point. Regardless it is not fault of the company I spent what I did. This is completely on me and that’s why I want to share my review so other people (maybe someone with loose skin) will know my experience of spending $13,000 and having zero results (again I’m sure lots of people have great results for different things but this was my experience). The people who work there are very nice and I think truly want to help people. I just want people to know I had an experience of spending a lot of money with no results. No fault of the company but as a potential customer I would want to know this before making a decision to spend that much money. Not meant as a insult to the company. I wouldn't recommend this place if you need laser treatment on your belly area. I didn't have a good experience going to this place. Be aware, don't waste your money and time. After more than 2 years of having my son, I tried many diets and exercises to lose weight but it was difficult for me . I had back pain, lack of sleep. I didn't want to consider liposuction or any other invasive treatment. I saw an ad on spanish TV and decided to give this place a try. They were really nice first consultation. They told me it will take more than 6 months to see the results and I would see them middle of treatment to monitor results. During the 6 to 8 months I never saw any difference at all. I did gain about 12 lbs, During and after treatments. Am a healthy eating, however, probably the lack of sleep and high cortisol level from being a new mom probably contributed to the getting weight. They refuse treatment until I lost the extra weight, even when I was so depressed from wasting time and money using this laser treatment. After I finally lost the extra weight, they decided to try somewhere else. They made me feel so guilty that I gained weight and that it was my fault that the treatment didn't work. It was very stressful for me. I have to point out that while waiting in their waiting area, there were two ladies speaking in Spanish to each other, complaining to each other that they have come to this place wasted time and use credit card to add the service. And the treatment never work for them and they kept telling them to come for correction. That's when it hit me that this place might be a scam for laser treatment for reducing fat in your belly. They offer other treatments so they might be good for other things but for laser treatment for fat reducing I wouldn't recommend this place at all. They most likely pay so much for advertising.
