Hello, let me start by saying I loved your store. My mom and I have been loyal customers for years. But recently I've been a little disheartened when I come to visit and shop with you guys. I never really took notice of your "wedding gifts" section before because for the first time in my 34 years of existence, I found the love of my life, and I am a bride to be. The last few times I've visited i started to take notice of all the unique and lovely engagement/wedding gifts and decor items in your store and have left feeling more invisible and depressed than I have in years. You see, I am a lesbian. So yes I am marrying a woman. And every time I come back I look high and low for anything that says Mrs and Mrs or Mr and Mr to no avail. I don't know if it's a vendor/supplier issue; a oversight by your staff or you guys just don't want those items in your store. As a whole, all of your staff has always made myself and anyone I was with feel welcome. That's not my issue. My issue is that it is 2019, gay and lesbian couples exist and we do get married. And when I walk in and see nothing for us, it's a little disheartening, considering you guys a a major hometown store, that usually has something for EVERYONE. I decided to bring this to your attention because maybe it is an oversight and you just didn't realize. I can say, however, until this issue is resolved, I'll send my friends and family elsewhere to buy us engagement...

Personal info required to purchase by credit card.
Nice layout that invites you to stroll around and purview all their products. Pretty and fun stuff.
However.... I had selected several items and was ready to pay UNTIL they asked the woman in front of me for her 1st and last name, as if every store vendor requires that info to process your payment.
Hello!!! They DON!'T!!
When she asked why, the sales person told her they needed her personal info to process her credit card. Her other option was to pay by cash.
Since WHEN does a store need your personal info to process either a credit or debit card payment?
Again - they DON'T!!
Needless to say after hearing that both the woman and I left! We both knew the next question would be her cell and email. The last thing either of us needed is more marketing emails or texts or make it easier to compromise our profiles.
Their loss not ours. Cute shop but their prices are high and not unique. You can get the same items at other local shops without giving them your personal info.
Be up front with customers. I suggest they post a sign on their door:
'Personal info required to process card payments. No personal info required if you pay by cash.'
My advice to buyers,...
Read moreI went into Willy Nilly on the recommendation of friends. I thought it would be fun to shop before Christmas for last minute items. I purchased a glitter glass lantern of a champagne bottle inside a champagne bucket. I gave it as an engagement gift. My daughter asked if I could return it. The receipt clearly says I have 30 days to return an item. I have low vision and needed my husband to drive me. On January 8, I attempted to return and get a credit. I was told because it was a Christmas item. I could only get a 50% in store credit. I spoke to the manager and she was adamant that she wouldn’t budge and that was the policy. I said the item could be sold anytime of the year as a celebratory gift. It wasn’t a Christmas gift, but I was forced to reluctantly take a $35 in store credit which I am going to give to one of my girlfriends. I have told each of them of my terrible experience: having been in retail myself for over 30 years, I know bad news and bad reviews travel faster than good ones. The manager really burned her...
