This is truly one of the most unique and hands on art experiences I have ever gotten to enjoy! This definitely was a bucket list item for me and I am so grateful to have done it here. I would have never imagined that I would be able to say I got to participate so much in the glassblowing process. Greg and Sarah are so incredibly kind and patient, constantly reassuring you while watching us fumble our way about. Greg gave such a great overview of the history of glassmaking and how the process works. We were so astounded when Greg set us up to do certain steps and then stepped back and allowed us to really try doing it ourselves. We did this as a birthday treat for my Mom and I cannot imagine a more joyful or life-affirming way to spend the day. Thank you for this incredible experience! If you have a spare hour in the Adirondacks and want to come home with a once in a lifetime souvenir, this is the...

My three teenagers and I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn about glass blowing yesterday. It was so fun and interesting and our pumpkins and heart came out so beautifully - our friends will be so impressed ;-)

Special thank you to Erin who was amazing with my son. I was a little concerned when we arrived as he has an intellectual disability and I wasn't sure how challenging it would be. However, she just guided us ALL along the way and treated him the same as the rest of us - helping when needed but letting him fully participate. It is so meaningful when he is able to experience things in the same manner as his siblings and I so appreciate how you didn't seem remotely concerned. He loves art and can't wait to show off his creation. Thank...

An amazing Adirondack adventure!! Adirondack Glassblowing Studio was such a great class. Greg was a hands-on teacher that helped each one of us make a beautiful paper weight. It was one of the best classes we have ever taken. Informative, creative and really gave us a true glass making experience. Bonus was a Thursday Farm Market with veggies and baked goodies. We look forward to going back for another class and to experience the Hot Glass/Cool Jazz event. Thank you Greg and Team for something educational, not the same-old, same-old class and making each of us a...

Visited the studio when on vacation. We were lucky enough to book a glass blowing experience! If you have the chance, I highly recommend it. While you don’t get to “blow” you are intimately involved in shaping, forming and finishing your piece. You can choose the style and colors you want to use. All the artists were very friendly and the class was educational and fun! Bring closed toed shoes and non-synthetic clothing. They do provide PPE but you’re working near extreme heat and it doesn’t hurt to be safe :)

What a great way to create your own glass project! We learned so much with Erin, who smiles brilliantly in every photo. She took us through each step nice and slow as we carefully built our glass bowls. There are several objects to make with a great selection of vibrant colors. You are also welcome to visit and watch the artists in action as well as buy their work from candy canes to paperweights to beautifully blown and sculpted bowls and vases. Friendly, welcoming and true craftsmen!
