North Creek Depot Museum — Attraction in Town of Johnsburg

It was a great day to ride the rails! The weather could not have been better and the guides were absolutely wonderful 👍! It's a great place to go in pairs or as a group. There was actually a group there and it was a bachelorette party. We were a party of four and had a totally good time. The views were spectacular!!! I do wish they'd cut the weeds down in some areas of the track and wish there was a restaurant near by as we wanted to have lunch afterwards; but had to drive back inwards to town a ways. Interesting little museum with the nicest people working (volunteering) there. The train display replicating the town, of the '40's I think, is really cool. Great place to learn about the area and this historic railroad depot. There is a wonderful model train diarama that is to scale of the entire town and that alone is worth a stop. The depot also played a role in Presidential history that most will find interesting. I visit whenever I’m in the area, on my travels...
