Dollar General — Attraction in Town of Montour

I just went here yesterday. One of the cashiers, a heavyset black woman, refused my mother of wanting to pay cash first and the rest charged to her credit card due to her not having much in her bank account because we’re a poor white family. After my mom telling her she only had $30 in bank, She lied about saying that she’d only charge $23 dollars to her bank and the rest in cash and instead charged the full amount of $48 (nearly $50) to her bank account which lead to my moms bank account bouncing!! To which we had to ask for help from a relative to fix the issue. I’ve also purchased MONTH OLD EXPIRED FOOD AND BEVERAGES (back from the first week of November)!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I've been a customer of this store since they opened many years ago. On August 14th, 2019 I visited the store at approximately 8:30pm.I wish I had caught the names of the two employees that were working. The gentleman was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendlythat I remember thinking this is the nicest guy they ever had working for this store. He really seemed to enjoy his job too. I am very disappointed.... I purchased a defective phone and I drove half an hour back to this store to return it and Heather gave me such an attitude and told me her kid was more important than her job and told me she couldnt refund me then told me to leave. I got scammed on a broken phone and I can't even get my hard earned money spent back or even on a gift card, what kind of buisness is this? This woman should be fired on the spot. She was not professional and has poor customer service skills and i will never ever shop here ever again.....
