Best fish fry around. I got a salad and fries for sides...also wonderful. Saladbar was small but very fresh. For some reason, I really liked the waitress even tho she was very ditsy. She was very friendly but I must say forgetful. First, she took our order. On the menu, they had saladbar as a side. I love salad, so I asked if I could have a salad. She told me $1.00 extra, and I could only have 1 bowl. I said all right. From there, it went crazy. First, she did not say that I could go go get my salad when she was done with our order. I didn't see a salad bar anywhere, so I thought OK she is bringing me a bowl of salad. She came over with wrong drinks, then wrong food twice. She and another waitress came over with our food. They asked me if I ordered the salad, and when I said yes, they asked me why i didn't go get it. I explained that I had never been there before. I did not see a saald bar. I got my salad and all was well. Either this waitress was having a bad night, or she was normally not a waitress or the only waitress starting the shift alone because once the other waitress got there all was well. Our server was nice but the rest left much to be desired. Got the wrong meal and the replacement was also the wrong wrap. The first wrap tasted decent, but the second wrap tasted like a goat barn unfortunately and a few bites has left my stomach feeling dubious. My dining partners also do not feel the greatest. The sweet potato fries, home fries, and hot chocolate were pretty good. Some of the eggs had shells in them, the scrambled eggs were leathery and the mashed potatoes were hard and dry. Your experience will depend greatly on who you get as a server. The older lady that works there in the morning is amazing. She's on the ball. I've seen her handle almost the whole diner by herself. Gets the food out quickly when you hear the bell ring in the kitchen. The younger gal on the other hand is a chatterbox. Bell rings when the food is done but she waits like 5 mins before she goes and gets it. Even when she's not busy. She'll just stand and chat while food is sitting in the window losing its heat. Bugs me. But it's my favorite place to eat breakfast . They have the best bacon...
