This dealership is an amazing place. I advise you to go there. Even if it's just to see. You will be surprised! A while ago I used to have to go to New Jersey to get my bikes and to get them serviced, because there were no good dealerships in Queens. I found that Gold Coast Motorsports is under new management! They're an excellent team! They really work with you. They communicate perfectly between themselves, and across the board, not one piece is left out. Whatever they say they're going to do, they do and even better. Trust me! Top notch! Mert could be a little quiet, but he answers your questions and finds the way to negotiate you the best pricing for your trade-in. The sales manager James is a top gentleman and a kind man. The best communicator and family oriented individual. He gets you the best rate deal, period! The manager, the internet sales reps, the accessories advisors, the floor sales reps, the service mechanics, etc. Every person you find there on the floor is just polite and they understand motorcycles because they all ride, and are genuinely interested in you. When you go there, even if you go just to see, you get the best experience, no matter how far you come from. Bikes? They all well prepped; and these people know their inventory and how to treat their clients. Service? They're spot on! You come out with the best vehicles. Period! I bought a 2024 Ducati Scrambler Icon, 0 miles. This thing rides like a dream. Its a wonderful machine. Attention to details is high! I have never had any experience like this before with delaerships in NY. When the time is up for service, this will be the place! Thank you Gold Coast!!

Definitely the best experience I’ve ever had at any dealership! Gold Coast treated me not only like a customer but as a friend. They didn’t treat me any differently because I’m young and potentially would waste their time. Everyone there was very helpful and made the purchase of my 2021 Bmw s1000rr stress free! I’ve gone back to just hang out at this point, it’s such a good environment full of caring people. They have a large inventory of bikes and gear, you wouldn’t want to miss out! Huge shoutout to Shehan for walking me through all the features of my new bike and letting me test ride multiple motorcycles prior to making my final decision. 2 weeks later my girlfriend picked up a Ducati 950 S from there as well. Such an awesome group of people and I’ll definitely be back in the future for another bike👍🏼

As soon as you walk in your amazed at all the beautiful bikes, The staff was awesome Shehan who sold me the bike was cool as can be the finance Department was short and sweet not like buying a car. I made a mistake and over paid one hundred dollars and she was honest enough to return it . The parts department was great don't know how they work in there it was so hot they help me with accessories for my bike showed me how the bike would look with parts on or off so I can pick the one's I like. You can go crazy with all the accessories like I did but Ayaan ,Peter and Joel mention just get a few at a time and you can alway's come back and get parts you see on line or someone's bike.as you can see left happy. .

I'm finally getting the gumption to write a review and keep it posted after my terrible experience here. Every time I write a bad review they call me and pressure me to take it down. Gold Coast: DO NOT CALL I WILL NOT TAKE DOWN THIS REVIEW.

I dropped off a 2003 Triumph Speed Triple in January of 2016 with 24,000 miles to be serviced. It seemed to be running well, but needed a scheduled service. It did have a slight issue where it would stall sometimes. I was quoted $800 for parts and labor to do the service alone, so I authorized them only to do the scheduled service. It was slightly above standard pricing, and I was told it would take two weeks.

Over a month later, I get a call saying that I owe them $1600 dollars! I was furious, and tried desperately to understand how this happened. The sales rep explained to me that they did the scheduled work, adjusted my valves without asking me (it is an extra fee that they are supposed to let me about know beforehand), bled my brakes (I didn't ask for this) and spent over 15 hours trying to fix the stalling issue which they didn't even solve! On top of that, the sales rep instructed me he would not be finishing the required service items on the list, as it would take too much of his mechanics time, and I was 'off base' for thinking the work could be done in the factory allotted 6 hours.

They promised me they would lower my price AND get to the bottom of the stalling issue to make things right. I paid $1400 and rode my bike home. The stalling was still happening. When I spoke with the mechanic that worked on my bike, he seemed truly upset that he could not find the issue, however when discussing the problem I discovered he did not adjust my valves, they were in spec! Maybe he was mistaken?

I was then fed lines of nonsense from other mechanics, saying that my stalling was caused by a tiny hole in my throttle body seals, that took them 10 hours to find? But still didn't fix the problem?

It didn't matter anyway because not long after that my engine broke down. When I brought it to gold coast it was making a knocking noise, they told me it was probably just the cam-chain and they would gladly repair it (for a fee, obviously). Of course I am distrustful of them at this point, and I got the oil analyzed by a laboratory. The engine was ruined, it was oil starved and seized in May only 1500 miles after my expensive service, right at the beginning of the season. Although I blame myself for not checking the oil level frequently enough, it makes me question if Gold Coast even changed my oil at all.

There was a new filter however, and they over tightened it to the point that the threads snapped from the inside of the filter. This could have also caused the failure. When I confronted a mechanic about why my filter was torqued on too tight, he defiantly responded 'I tighten oil filters so that they don't pop off while you're on the highway!' as if he knew better than the engineers who designed the thing.

Gold Coast clearly enjoys jerking their customers around and feeding them lines of nonsense, assuming that we must all be fools. Well I can say this much, keep your $1400, if you want it so badly. Nothing will change how I feel about your shady practices, and I just would like others to know what they're getting themselves into if they choose to do...

Update from 2019:

I was going to give it a shot again. Everything is still very true.

TL;DR: Pretty bad service. Sales staff unfriendly. Parts staff friendly and ok to deal with. Conclusion: Will never buy a bike here again. Wont support the establishment by buying maintenance products here either.

I wanted to make sure the summary was on top for those in a rush. A little over a year ago, I was just getting off my 250 phase and eager to pick up a larger bike. After much research I settled on a 2012 Street Triple R. With that enthusiasm my only goal was to find the closest dealer to me, show up with money, and purchase the bike. I was entirely ready to just find a place, pay MSRP and walk out with a bike. If all you want is to buy a motorcycle with little interaction with people and no need for a ongoing relationship, this dealership would be just as good as any other euro dealership in your area. Since this is what I did a year ago, I didn't notice how cold and unwelcoming the sales staff is.

I have now been riding for a bit longer and am currently interested in picking up a dedicated track bike. This time my logical head is in charge and I am doing my research, meeting with sales people, hanging out in dealerships and getting a MUCH better sense of the process. Out of the 4 dealerships I have been to (Include 1 Harley dealership while helping my cousin pick up his 883) Gold Coast was the most cold and uninviting place I have been. The staff never approached me and ask to help. They quickly tried to upsell me on bikes and features that I know I didn't want or need. Talking about price instantly turns into the "well you know this is the hottest bike on the market now, and we cant really do much with the price". And lastly, the straw the broke the camels back, and what motivated me to write this review, a second visit to the place (despite my better judgement) to check out a used bike that was recently put on the floor went down like this: Walk in and head directly to a sales person that I know would not approach me. Confirm that the used bike was place on the floor and confirmed the location. Walking out of the office by myself to go check out the bike. Hanging around the bike and looking it over while no one still wants to help Walking back to the sales office to ask about the mileage on the bike. Walking back to the bike to do one more look over. Wait 5 mins to ensure no one will walk out the sales office. Leaving the dealership and swearing never to purchase a bike from here again.

I'm not sure if they didn't take me seriously or they just don't care to be that type of power sports dealership where you can hang out with the staff, talk about bikes and just enjoy one another company. I want to purchase bikes from dealerships like that, not like Gold Coast. And although, as I mentioned above, if you are just planing on buying a bike MSRP without the desire for this type of personal interaction, I would implore that you still not purchase here and support the dealerships with good people that truly enjoy the...

This dealership is ABSOLUTELY terrible. Do not waste your time or money! I would give this place a negative star if I could. I scheduled an appointment to see a 2015 Jeep Wrangler a week in advance. I live two hours away so I had to plan a trip to drive out to see the car. I show up and the windshield is cracked. They told me that they could easily fix it. Once I decided to go forward with purchasing it, they tell me I’d have to come back another time or they’ll send me a check to get it done in my state. I told them I would not be driving back to get it done because that’s miles and gas that I would have to put on my new car in order to save them a buck. The windshield being cracked meant it wouldn’t pass emissions and I couldn’t register the car until it was fixed. I went all the way back home and it took them over two weeks to pay for my windshield to get fixed. They made ME find a place that could do a “dealer to dealer price”. I had to call to set an appointment even though they should’ve done it because it was their responsibility to fix the windshield. Then the day of the windshield appointment, the owner of the shop tells me that Goldcoast never paid for my windshield. The shop billed them a week in advance and they never sent them a check. I had to wait TWO hours for them to get in contact with the Goldcoast manager and for them to pay for the replacement. Then once I got the windshield replaced, I went to get the emissons testing done that same day. I called them to let them know I was faxing over the paper so that way they can start my registration process. Didn’t hear for over a week from them. Finally called them and they told me “we didn’t get your fax”. No one thought to call me and to inform me on this. Then I emailed and refaxed the emissons conformation because that’s what they asked me to do. Three days later I had to call them AGAIN and they decide to tell me I need to fedex the paper now. It has been over a month of me fighting with these people to register my car because that’s what I PAID them to do. The temporary registration I have on my car is now expiring and they STILL haven’t processed my registration. This place is extremely unprofessional, they blame each-other instead of taking ownership of the situation and helping me. No one has EVER called to follow up with me or to give me any good news. I paid them to get this done yet I’m the one constantly calling them and they make excuses every time. Do not waste your time. I have been stressed about this for over a...
