This place is a mess. Advise not to come here for classes. Our 9-week summer kids class was supposed to start in Beg July but they postponed it to August (which means doesn't end in August but Oct instead). Despite the drastic change in schedule, they refused to refund and the whole class was forced to attend. Apparently it gets worse. The whole class of kids showed up this weekend at normal class time and only to be told that the class had moved up one hour earlier than regular time (really, without informing the class? because the whole class showed up at regular time). Furthermore, how can you suddenly change a 9-week schedule, what if people had prior arrangements and no refund is provided. Let's just say many parents were very upset and stormed out. The reason they gave was "you're suppose to check our website every week". First of all, we were not informed that that's what we were supposed to do is to check website expecting changes every week. When the postponement occurred in the summer, you called each one of us to let us know there will be no class. We were told repeatedly that we will be notified by phone if any changes. Anyway, they don't care and people won't be coming back. Update: seems like this place has a habit of cancelling classes/events last min without refund as I found out upon checking their...
Read moreThe good: Price to skate is cheap. Rentals are also cheap.
The bad: Very limited parking. Three pairs of rental skates and they are all loose, wobbly, broken. The ankles are not supported and they should all be jettisoned and replaced. The guys behind the table take one of your shoes in exchange for a pair of rental skates, so you have to walk along a watery floor with one socked foot, making the sock wet and cold inside the loosely fitting skate. The facility does not appear to have been updated since 1987. For some reason, the place was packed. There's a lot of little kids bumping into everyone. The ice was practically unskateable. Good luck...

The only thing that I believe could be improved is that the skates could have those little rubber bumpers on it for beginners and an area could be cordoned off for beginners as well where they can charge to learn the basics for people and kids starting out. I think this would be helpful as people who are just learning to let go of the wall wouldn't feel bothered to move out of the way of traffic along the sides. But generally great staff and a great place...
