Pink & Y Nail Spa — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

This review is long overdue because I’ve been going to Pink&y’s for a little over a year now, and they are an absolute gem. Everyone here is very talented, but my guy is Michael. Every single time, he delivers perfection. He loves when I bring in different ideas and photo inspo and together work to create ART! His attention to detail is unreal. The line work, the color blending, the tiny precise designs- he is truly an artist. I always leave feeling obsessed with my nails.

Annie, the owner, does stunning work as well. You can tell she built this salon with intention, care, and artistry. & She’s super fast! But honestly, the entire team here is talented, welcoming, and so genuine and kind. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with warmth and good energy.

The salon itself is super clean, organized, and has such a calm, positive vibe. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable sitting for hours whether it’s chatting, laughing, or just vibing and being taken care of. It’s my happy place for quality me time. ♥️

If you appreciate high quality art, precision, creativity, and people who truly love what they do, this is the place. Couldn’t recommend them more. 💅🏽✨

I truly never write bad reviews but this place is ridiculous. He did my nails and I could tell he rushed. One nail broke two days later so I went in to fix it. And he stayed on his phone for a good 5 minutes until helping me. Than put the colors in front of me and went back on his phone expecting me to figure out the shade myself. Than a day later another nail came right off. Never in my life have I gotten a worse job done. Idk about the rest of the staff but the man working there clearly doesn't know what he's doing for the price that they charge. And never in my life had I asked for 3 colors and been told I'm being charged extra. This...

$80 for a gel pedicure and regular manicure and pedicure for my 12 year old. The employee who did the manicure and pedicure on my 12 year old basically cut, filed and painted her nails only - which I could have done for free at home. They did not cut her cuticles or put lotion on her feet. It was busy there and they completely half assed the service for her but had no issue charging me the full price of $30. $50 for a gel pedicure where the employee had to be told to cut nails and half asses the callus remover service by completely missing one side of my foot is unacceptable.
