The Jacket Bar & Micro Brewery — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I want to start by saying that the waitress and bartender were both really pleasant and kind! I recently celebrated my birthday there with my son and daughter-in-law, and we had a great time. In fact, my son accidentally forgot to pay his bill because we were having so much fun! No worries, we live in the area, and he went back to settle it.

However, when he returned, the two owners were incredibly rude and disrespectful. To make matters worse, they charged him for drinks that weren’t even ours! Even though he still paid the full bill, the treatment was unacceptable, especially considering how often my son and daughter-in-law bring business to this bar.

This is no way to treat loyal customers. We will be taking our business elsewhere! FYI, make sure to check your bill...

This bar was good at 1st. Made great relationships with the owner. I started to come on a regular basis, even Brought a lot of my friends and family to the bar and spoke highly of them until 1 day the owners was rude and not very understanding. From partying at the bar i made a mistake & forgot to pay the bill. 1 of the owners came up to me very nasty about the tab I had left. Me paying the bill was not a problem, however things was added to my bill. Also treated me as if I had committed a crime and trying to say I always leave and don't pay which is never the case. So I simply paid the bill after he refused to take the items I didn't purchase.

But my business & me bring other people to this location is done...

What made the experience coming to this establishment awesome, was that at one point the bartender should’ve been overwhelmed with handling a full bar and all tables on her own; whereas any other locations where one person has to maintain the bar and also waitress the table, the service is usually as close to the worst experience imaginable!! NOT here! I’m an observer and I seen, at no point was anyone neglected of being served!!! To throw the cherry on top of that whole, what should’ve been a chaotic situation; she was also the person DJ-ing the music, and never got a point where the music...
