I live down the street from this Starbucks and I’m there about 2-3 times weekly. I sometimes sit and observe for a while also. I gave them a few months to get it together because I know they just opened. But it’s always the same. No one knows what’s happening, they don’t have assigned stations... so you’ll get your drink and then need to ask them where your hot food is. Then they will all look at each other and ask who’s doing what. 🙄 if it’s not busy, they are all standing around talking and laughing and then asking “what was your drink?” while people come in looking for it. And I think it’s a training store or something because they always have ALOT of people working there but some are just standing there watching other people doing things. if there is a manager on staff I never know who it is. They are either TOO relaxed and don’t care or never there. It’s really like a hangout for these guys working here and they just get paid. If it wasn’t for the new store and the drive though I wouldn’t come here. Also, unless your studying and not lounging the furniture that is supposed to be comfortable is not. They can be kinda rude too when THEY mess up your order and have to remake it. It kinda overall sucks here. Hopefully they will get new management to get it...
Read moreI love this Starbucks!!! I use the drive-through on my way to work. It’s always a smooth ordering process. Diane is the best! I also think it’s great that they sometimes put motivational or cute stickers on the lids of the drinks. They should do this everyday. The iced matcha latte is my favorite. The variety of vegetarian foods is also great!!!
My only qualm is that people will park on the blue lines that are there for wheel chair accessible vehicles. (I used to work with people who utilized wheel chairs and those blue lines are critical for them to enter and exit the vehicles safely.) I believe a sign and video monitoring for ticketing due to illegal parking, could deter this from happening.
Overall, it’s a great place...
Read moreI love Starbucks coffee and food. The drive through sometimes takes more than 20 minutes. Very limited parking space. It’s in the corner of Willis Ave and Jericho Turnpike, unsafe location. You pay a lot for unpredictable tastes, the coffee is different each time. It all depends on who is making your drink. Staff seems hating what they are doing. Even if there are no costumers in the drive through, staff manage to keep you waiting. But most importantly, I learned to sip from my coffee before I leave the place and ask the staff to fix it if I am...
