Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge - Rockland Landing — Attraction in Town of Orangetown

Parking was available and I was there to bike across the bridge. Been there a few time and a little disappointed in the condition of the pavement which is rather bumpy for a brand new bike path. View is great but not so easy to see while biking and due to being right next to a lot of traffic it is quite noisy and you get a lot of exhaust to breathe in. Heritage Trail in Orange County is a much better place to bike but this acceptable if you live near the bridge (hopefully it will be the Tappan Zee Bridge w/o the Cuomo name besmirching it ) and is a OK place to go for a quick 7 mile...

Overall great location to start a walk across the bridge. The walkway itself has beautiful views and nice rest stops. There’s decent parking here, with 2 Chargepoint EV stations, but they aren’t working at the moment so -1 star until they do. Nicely designed, clean bathrooms. Careful about navigating here because if you don’t turn left on time, you can accidentally end up...

They really did a lovely job on this redesign. Seating areas, and picturesque views throughout. They even have a shuttle service in case you need assistance or just need to go from one end to the other of this beautiful 4 mile walking path.

It is very loud though, you will have a hard time hearing the person beside you and whatever you have playing in...
