I have been meaning to write this review for a while but took my time as it’s a tough one for me to write. I remember as a little girl going to AR&L with my mother. It was always a fun, magical shop full of beautiful things. Recently, I brought my little girl into the Nyack store to browse and shop. The woman with the short-cropped hair who was working was so rude, unfriendly, and downright unkind - practically yelling at my daughter for looking at and touching the toys, eyeing me like I was trying to steal something - that we quickly left. Abigail Rose and Lily have the most beautiful collection of clothing and objects. Every item is carefully curated with care given to choosing items that are both stylish/interesting and made to last! I prefer to only wear natural fibers and I love that that their clothing selection highlights garments made of linen, cotton, wool, cashmere, etc, all beautifully woven, knitted, or dyed with care. Because many items in the collection are made in small batches each item that I’ve purchased feels like my own...
