I live in Denver and my in-laws live in Nyack. They gave me a pair of gloves for Christmas, which they purchased at Long Path.

Unfortunately, the gloves were a little too small, so I called and spoke with Laura about exchanging them for a different style and size.

Not only did Laura allow me to exchange the gloves. She went to the trouble of ordering a style she didn't carry in the store and then mailed them to me once they arrived at the shop.

Prior to some extensive traveling I stopped in Long Path Outfitters and asked if they have good walking shoes. Laura (the owner) raved about the Danner shoes saying that both she and her son have had multiple pairs. Since she really seemed to now what she was talking about, I bought the 2650's. I've now been walking pretty much daily in them (did 22k steps yesterday) and they have been a dream. I've never had a more comfortable walking show. Much appreciation to Laura. I highly recommend her...

Was really excited about their opening but unfortunately really disappointed. Terrible costumer service when came to returns. Particularly around holidays. Pretty expensive store to have a horrible return policy. Make sure you like...
