Let me start by saying my nails look good. Meaning the technique was good, not great. But good enough that I might have been a return customer.
My first impression...Salon clean, fancy and too busy for amount of staff. Long, 35 minute wait with an appointment scheduled. 18 pedicure chairs. 3 in use. Mine was broken. Asked 3 times to be moved before it happened.
Then 2 of us were seated simultaneously. I explained the services I booked for, and what I wanted.
I brought, from the rack, the regular polish color I wanted for toes and found 3 similar gels for my hands.
Explained I wanted similar shades, of purple. Tech looked, pointed it out, got bottle, and left me with a new person.
The second technician i saw, Lydia, actually did the work. She was polite, thorough, careful and did a great job.
My toes are exactly what I asked for.
My fingernails are blue. :(
While pretty, not what I wanted.
I expressed this several times before it was completed. No offer to resolve.
I'm disappointed.
Edit: AFTER THE FACT...the manager was VERY attentive and helpful. I will consider giving this establishment another chance. Everyone can...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOkay so Iām not one to write negative reviews at all especially in this economy and the ladies who did my nails were incredible but tonight i went back to drizzle nail salon i used to go biweekly but they kept messing up my appointments and the guy at the front and Iām guessing heās either the owner or manager was always so rude⦠well i got a flyer in the mail that said they were having 20% off for all their services no where on the flyer did it say that you needed to bring in a flyer it didnāt say coupon it just said 20% off for their 3 year anniversary so i was like okay me and my friend made appointments and we went in and from the moment we walked in he was nasty and then i asked about the flyer and heās like no you need to bring it in so i had my mom run it up to me even tho it didnāt say anything about needing it and so i said to my friend we will just pay together and use the 20% we go to pay and he refused to let us pay together which i think is completely unacceptable sinc again nowhere did it say one time use coupon or anything like that it just said 20% off all services so between him being nasty and not honoring it i will never...

When I explained what happened they told me I had to ask for color gel....Regardless my hands go under a UV lamp so how was I supposed to know? Such awful communication. Not only that, my nails looked horrid. I almost cried because of how awful they look; lumpy and uneven and a shape that I don't think even exists. I saw two workers pointing and whispering at me and when I kept looking one realized and went "Shh" to the other. And finally, aside from 2, maybe 3 times, every other time I've been here something turned out wrong with my nails and they chip or crack within days. I'm done wasting money here, these people don't deserve...
