PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH before enrolling in 200 HR at this establishment. As someone who was truly looking for a safe space to escape the toxicity of the environment I was in at the time, it was disheartening to learn that this too happens in the yoga environment. I started 200HR TT in September and am grateful for the AUTHENTIC women who I've met. Unfortunately these authentic women don't include the owners. Everything my fellow trainee said I am 100% behind. There is blatant favoritism and it's high school cliquey. It was mid training when some of us started to wake up to the idea that our once mentor, was not only NOT living authentically, but gaslighting and treating her employees like absolute trash. Everything she preaches in training about building the business herself is a complete fabrication. Besides all of the drama with her adding extra fees that weren't agreed to at the beginning of training, she also waited until the last day of training to tell everyone on a payment plan that they have to wait until they are FULLY paid off before they receive their certificate. Which again is her making the rules up as she goes along because there are several people from past 200 HR trainings that are still paying her off and have their certificate. If the owner pulls you into a massage room and tries to get you alone .. RUN.. it's her trying to convince you to sign up based on a payment plan and based on the promise that she wants to "help out." This is her M. O. She will only ever speak to you when she wants to manipulate you and convince you of something, otherwise she will ignore you. Im so disgusted with the way this establishment has acted that I am negotiating with Yoga Alliance on how to finish my requirements elsewhere due to the bullying that occurs here. If you try to speak up against what goes on here they will try to make you out to be disgruntled and to be "going through a process" because of training. The ultimate spiritual gaslight tactic. This is how cults are formed. Just want to warn people that if you ever have to speak with them alone in their office, DOCUMENT IT. RECORD IT. HAVE IT IN WRITING. I truly did not want to have to post such a review to a place I once thought was my home and safe space, but hearing the amount of people this has happened to is SO SAD. I truly hope they are able to integrate the feedback they're getting from so many trainees instead of trying to sweep it under the rug. NamaSTAY away from here!! The amount of people who have thanked me for speaking up because they were too afraid to is sickening. How have they gotten away with this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTwo years ago my mother and I took an 8 week beginner yoga course together at another studio. We really enjoyed it but as great as it was the studio just didnāt quite feel like āhomeā and I ended up not attending any more classes there afterwards. Then just this past year I decided to try again and found Emerge from the recommendations of others and since it was closer to my home I decided to give it a try. Iām so thankful I did because I honestly canāt say enough good things about this amazing place! First off, the studio is big, beautiful, clean, and always spotless. It looks like theyāre expanding too which is dope. The front desk staff is always super nice, polite, and even remember your name! Iāve tried many different classes and every one was just as good as the last. They have mat yoga, aerial, meditation, total body, private sessions, and much more at all different levels. Itās not even worth mentioning any specific instructors because EVERY single one has been extremely welcoming and knowledgeable, especially for a newbie like myself. I also love their use of essential oils and how every class is different week to week, always keeping things upbeat, fresh, and challenging. Thereās also tons of other services to try there like the sauna, massages, and floating tanks. The crowd is diverse with both men and women of all ages, even classes for children as well. Price wise they have many different options for packages and classes and having researched other studios in the area I think their pricing is very fair and moderate. The Emerge app is also convenient and easy to use to make purchases and book your classes right from your phone. Great vibes, ambiance, staff, and of course yoga! Overall, I could go on forever about how much I enjoy this place and am happy to have finally found my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI couldn't recommend this place any more highly! The space is clean & peaceful, & the staff are warm & professional. If you're curious about the antigravity yoga, you HAVE to try it! It will make your back feel so fantastic & it's so fun that I forget I'm working out. The mat classes are the best I've ever attended, filled with intelligent sequencing, clear instruction, & teachers who truly care about each and every individual student; at this studio you can expect that teachers will meet you where you are and, with compassion and patience, help you pursue whatever goals you have in mind. While I've had my moments of growth and challenge here, I have never once felt the competitive atmosphere that so often detracts from the appeal of other studios.
They also have a sensory deprivation pod which is amazing for anyone looking for some meditation time or just some relief from physical discomfort. There are personal saunas also! Massages are excellent! This place is a supportive community of positive & generous people, and they've really transformed my personal yoga practice...
