McCann Arena — Attraction in Town of Poughkeepsie

McCann Arena is home to the Marist Red Foxes men’s and women’s basketball teams. It is a nice little stadium to enjoy a game. The stadium seating is very good and there are excellent sightlines especially along the sides of the court. The beauty of the arena is that you are never that far away from the action. The arena was renovated in 2011 and has a modern feel to it. The scoreboards are located in the corners of the arena, which is different from most other arenas. There are many family friendly entertainment games during halftimes and timeout to entertain the crowd. The sound system in the arena is pretty good. Concessions are available at the game. Concession prices are moderate by stadium standards. There is also a team store located inside the arena. It is best to purchase tickets online ahead of time. The team has a user friendly website where you are easily able to use a stadium map to purchase your seats. You can also buy tickets at the box office. Tickets are affordable. For the 2023-24 season tickets are $13.00. For most games you can sit very close to the court in a chair back seat. The capacity of the arena is set at 5,000, but rarely do that many show up.
