Tenney Stadium — Attraction in Town of Poughkeepsie

Tenney Stadium is a nice multi-purpose stadium on the campus of Marist University. The stadium can fit as many as 5,000 people. The stadium sits near the entrance of the Marist campus and is near the banks of the Hudson River. The views of the Hudson River, Walkway Over the Hudson, Marist campus, and athletic field make this stadium unique. The eastern side of the stadium has seven sections of chairback seating. The seats are comfortable and not for away from the action. Along the westside of the stadium there is seating along the sideline where you can stand or bring a lawn chair. The stadium has a few concession stands open with good food. At most football games a local food truck or two is also brought in. The stadium's scoreboard is a bit small and outdated. It also does not offer video, which is a must a must in this day and age. Parking near the stadium can be tricky.
