Terrible service from a jaded old lady. We got 2 tastings the red and the white. She used the same glass for each wine, she didnt even rinse the glass, just poured the new wine in the same glass, terrible. Had an attitude about simple questions, like is it customery to put chilled whites in a stemless glass. Her snarky remark was " well those are the only glasses we have.." Meanwhile i looked right behind her and saw an entire clean rack of stemmed glasses. She claimed she disliked the wine menus, because she would "rather like to just tell you about each wine" yet as she poured, she just kind of muttered "this is the chardonnay" thats all... Very informative.... Also the menus list the bottle size as 1.5ml... She had no idea there was an error when we pointed this out, we said they must mean 1.5L, if it was mL it would be 1500mL. A 1.5mL bottle would be the size of a dropper. Kind of a simple mistake that needs and should be corrected. Leads me to believe literally no one at this winery knows what the hell they are doing. Having been a server for 10 plus years she just didnt have a good attitude to be doing what she does. Wouldn't recommend this place for tasting. Also one of the white wines literally tastes like water. Weak weak weak sauce. Cant tell you which one cause at the end of this horrible experience, i...
Read moreI visited this winery for the first time this year and wasnt very impressed. The place itself was very nice. I loved the ship style decor of the place however, the wine-not so much. The riesling and golden fleece to me where the best options at this winery. The staff was very friendly but not very good at tending the wine tasting bar. A few people were served tastings in used glasses. One girl was served with a glass that obviously had lipstick resdiue on it. The staff when asked quickly replaced the glass but that shoudnt happen if the used glasses were removed after each tasting was over. It happened to many times for my comfort while I was there. The best part of my visit here were the sheep outside. They were very friendly and amusing - well maybe I was just...
Read moreNot sure why this place has 4 stars. I only give it 3 because it doesn't require reservation, it has live music on Saturday, it allows outside food as they don't served food here, friendly staff. You can see alpacas and sheeps, relaxing outdoor seats, and 5 tasting wine for $15.
But wine selections are limited, they don't have too many options. The alpacas and sheeps 🐑 are not looking in a good shape, they are don't look like being well taking are of. One of sheeps can't walk properly and another was bleeding on his legs. This place abused the animals using them to attract more customers. I would not want to support this...
