My girlfriend and I usually go out on a hike most early Saturday afternoons. We usually stay local, but somehow I completely missed this trail, even though it's not too far away from my home. My girlfriend used to live in the area, and is unfortunately familiar with how things have changed in the past few years. (Let's just say that she's not very happy with the developments down there. She would rather that it would have just been left alone, and kept as natural as possible.) Otherwise, the trail is small, but it has a nice, flat grade. There used to be a pond, but most of it has since dried up. Some parts of the trail were a bit muddy, but probably because it had recently rained??? At one point we saw what my girlfriend later identified as a pine warbler??? I thought it was a goldfinch with fall coloring, but my girlfriend...

Visited this trails today and on the first day review follows as below.
You will love this trail on the base of what kind of person you are ?
You need calm and silent nature walk ? You will love this . More than 2 Miles of train with different terrain and path with few bird chirping and few insects(harmless) .
If you are photographer , you will find someof the outstanding scenes to shoot for and it depends how lucky you are . I found a snake on the track :) .
You need to have a water bottle with you and something to give you energy.
Allover , trails are clean , walk-able and there are no danger going alone if there is no rain. You need to make sure you do not go on rainy day or you will find the trails a bit muddy...

The trail is perfect for a short walk (1 hr ish) and has a very scenic wooden bridge. My dad and I were able to see several bunnies, many birds, a snake and a frog. Went in June after a period of rain however so there were two sections that were very wet and hard to get around!
Also, BEWARE OF MOSQUITOES. Even with bug spray and long pants as well as a light UV jacket I managed to get bitten several times on my back and forehead. The whole time we both had swarms of mosquitoes following us and had to continuously wave our arms around. For that reason alone, I don’t think we will be coming back soon…at least...
