I drive for doordash and this is a Burger King. Burger King is typical fast food restaurants however although I will know that I drive for doordash and I had an order for a a lady.
I decide to pick up the food and the customer service associate probably assistant manager or manager mentioned that it would be a couple minutes so I waited 5 minutes. The fast food for the order was not ready so what we have to know is 5 minutes is as sufficient time in order to wait for food.
So what is happening is the manager or assistant manager doesn't start making the food until the delivery driver shows up and walks in the building to me it is an emotional childlike decision made by someone in a position of authority in this fast food restaurant and the fast food restaurant industry should probably choose a different manager or someone else that's going to promote realism and Truth and consistency and efficiency.
Her job is extremely easy and her specific franchisor specific business for specific store would earn more dollars if it is professional with the doordash industry or Uber eats or the other food delivery companies.
Ultimately it is a waste of time and secondly it is a waste of money and thirdly it is going to ultimately indirectly waste food in some manner or shape or form or another.
After 5 minutes of waiting for fast food the order is not prepared it almost seems as if possibly certain places are intentionally damaging time money and food resources that customers are paying for in order to preserve some type of emotional possibly emotional managerial feeling it is a disrespect to the customer and it is a disrespect of the food and it is a disrespect to the other industries attempting to professionally relate and get food to people.
The thing that really blows my mind is that there is even opposition in a giving food to someone who has paid for it and there's even opposition in attempting to pick up food it's such a simple basic transaction there should be no there should be no friction. And because it is so simple and there should be no friction it's simple and applications nowadays with the algorithms and the intuitive features are able to demonstrate and know exactly where a delivery driver would be and also exactly when an order should be started and also exactly when the order is going to be picked up and also almost exactly when the order is going to be dropped off.
The applications nowadays have things incredibly intuitive and the algorithms that are associated with them so the reason for my speaking this and the reason for me vocalizing this is it just seems like such a spirit of heaviness or Spirit of anxiety or Spirit of unworthiness a spirit of not wanting to give your best because if if a person really desires to give their best to give everything that they're working for from within two then a transaction like this should be extremely simple.
The spirit is nasty. The spirit that would intentionally withhold a product from a customer due to some type of emotional feeling is nasty.
Ultimately the spirit there is killing me itself and probably will self implode.
I pray that honestly professionalism and managerial supervision and expertise will...
Read moreI was in the drive thru and placed my order, upon arriving to the window I was greeted by a very kind lady who let me know it would be just a minute for my food. I said ok no problem. From there she came over again a couple minutes later and said I’m sorry food should be up any moment. Then came back another couple minutes later and asked me to pull around and get back in line as my food was not done. I kindly declined and said I would rather wait as I didn’t want to get back in line behind 6 cars that were in the line to wait for my food as I was in a rush to get to my daughters school to pick her up after practice. If they weren’t able to supply my food I’d rather have a refund so I can be on my way. I over heard her let someone know by saying “she said she would rather wait or take a refund if that’s not possible” to which a man came barging over and yelled at me through the drive thru saying I was inconveniencing everyone behind me and to “move the hell up” I said “ this is f-ing ridiculous” as I was incredibly caught off guard by the attitude and manor of this man and he started yelling at me in the window and then slammed the window shut. He then chose to ignore me waving and asking for a refund as I no longer wanted anything to do with this location/food. Through the window I could hear him yelling to everyone that “she can wait all night I could care less what she wants, screw her” finally the young lady came back over and I said to her, I’m very sorry you have to deal with this as you were incredibly kind, however at this point I’d just like a refund so I can be on my way. She told me that man was her MANAGER and he would have to do the refund. She turned to him and told him and he grabbed a bag of food opened the window and threw it onto my window and told me to enjoy my food. I left shaking to say the least by this encounter with a man that is supposed to represent management at one of your locations. I’m appalled that you employ people with...
Read moreI ordered my food at the counter and sat down to eat my food, and in the middle of my meal, a manager came out and told me to leave the restaurant. She said the red signs on the individual tables indicated that the entire dining room was closed. I have a few issues with this.
The dining room did not look closed, nor was there a sign saying that that was the case. I have been to other Burger King’s in the last few months, and the dining areas had similar signage, but were actually open (some tables were red and some were green, and at one, an employee told me I could sit at a red table). In addition, nobody told me not to sit there when I put my food down and started eating. It was not until I was half-way done that I was told to leave. Therefore, the communication with customers in this restaurant was not good.
I tried to explain to her that I lived a couple counties away and asked her if there was somewhere I could go. Although she was not rude, she firmly told me that I can eat in my car or go out and sit on the grass. There’s a whole dining room of tables, and I was forced to wrap up my partially-eaten food and go out and sit on the curb to finish. I understand everyone is afraid of Covid-19, but treating someone like a filthy animal is not acceptable. The employees should have either told me not to sit there from the start (or had clear signage) or let me finish my meal and cleaned the table up afterwards. As a society, we cannot let our fear overcome us and throw away our humanity and...
