The concession stand people were very very very nice, the main entrance was pretty clean and as expected for a movie theater. When we arrived we were told there was an issue for the d-box movie theater (what we had originally gotten tickets for), we were the first ones there for that showing, so the concession guy called his manager immediately to prepare for other people coming for that showing (which I thought was very professional!) They offered a refund or tickets to the normal theater. They were very nice about it, we opted for normal tickets since we drove 30 minutes and... Prior to coming to this theater I was under the impression per other reviews that we'd have the big reclining chairs (we live 30 minutes from the theater so this is why I picked this theater), unbeknownst to us, not each theater had reclining chairs. The chairs in the ones that do not have them are pretty uncomfortable, especially for taller people or more curvy human beings.. The one we were in also smelled VERY badly of sewage / rotten eggs which was really... disappointing.
I think it should definitely be on the website exactly which moviea will have the reclining seats and which do not. Hopefully they're on way to maybe making most of them reclining chairs or updated seating?
Besides that, it wasn't bad. The mall it is in seems pretty abandoned and has a (random?) Aquarium in it, which different. Not too much...
Read moreJust came in with my friends and fiancé for his birthday to see a movie (kung fu panda 4) when I was greeted by the worst employee ever. As I ordered a few sodas the employee told me that there isn’t anymore popcorn left other than what they had, mind you they still have several showings. So politely I said that’s okay I’ll take whatever you can get out of there, 2 if you can. He then told us that, that is all they had for everybody else. Trying to make us feel guilty for their poor planning and ordering. I got them anyways and as I sit in this theater with my friends and fiancé I am still not able to just enjoy the movie. I am going to take my business to scotia cinema, Schenectady, crossgates honestly anywhere is better than here at this point. So super unwelcoming, I’m now uncomfortable to get refills. I hope this employee gets fired for his poor interactions with people, especially the groaning/moaning and this ‘over everything’ look on his face. I’ve worked many retail places so I do get it, but at the same time I’ve never took it out on a customer ever and I have a more physically demanding job than running in a circle refilling and cashing out individuals. He is balled, kinda blonde or ginger face hair but has greys and is on the heavier side. No name on the receipt but the employee # (clerk ID) is 6. March 17 for a...
Read morewanted to take a moment to share some thoughts regarding our recent visits to your theater. We’ve been fortunate to enjoy movies in your venue a few times, and while the experience has generally been positive, there are a few observations I believe are worth mentioning.
I want to acknowledge the hard work your team puts into maintaining the theater. Some movies we’ve seen have drawn larger crowds than others, and I understand how challenging it can be to keep everything in order during those bustling times. We have noticed that some of the chairs appear to be broken, making for a less comfortable.
Additionally, I wanted to bring attention to the state of the floors, which seem to be consistently covered in popcorn and other debris after showings. While I understand that this is often the result of patrons not respecting their surroundings, it does detract from the overall ambiance. Perhaps, more visible reminders or signs encouraging guests to clean up after themselves could help mitigate this issue, fostering a sense of collective respect for the beautiful space you provide.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. We truly enjoy coming to your theater and hope to continue supporting it in the future. With a few adjustments, I believe the experience could be elevated...
