My sister had my nephews bday party at the port Chester location and we all had high hopes, only to be sorely disappointed. Checkin was completely disorganized but I took it with a grain of salt since we had arrived a few min later than everyone else. My other sister got my son, who is 4 yrs old, ready to go join his cousins and their friends on the trampolines while I attempted to store his belongings on the wrack designated for my nephews party (each party had one). Though every other wrack of coats and shoes seemed to have a label with the child’s name whose bday part it was, the wrack for my nephews party did not. I mentioned this to not one but two of the staff members who seemed to be responsible for checking in the guests for the parties. I was all but ignored, they both had very nasty attitudes and even after I stressed the importance of labeling the wrack so that nothing was lost or confused with another bday party, neither of them did anything about it. Beyond suggesting that I move all of the items from one wrack to another one with a label myself, which I was happy to do. Though when I attempted to do that the other staff member got very nasty and said “idk why she told you that bc this is my wrack for my party” with the nastiest attitude, and proceeded to walk away from me in dismissal. One of our family members happened to be seated by the wracks of belongings and said they’d keep and eye on it to make sure it wasn’t moved or touched so we decided to leave the issue alone. This should never have been a problem to begin with, but it also could have been a super easy fix. Unfortunately, this was the first disappointment of many. The remainder of the event we were all left to deal with a slew of staffers who just did not seem to want to be there at all. No one was welcoming, not even a smile. Little ones were being spoken to as if they were older children and all of them were just so cold and dismissive. We were then rushed into the tiniest ‘party room’ which my sister was told would accommodate 20-30 ppl. That was the biggest lie! Most ppl were forced to stand in the hallway bc they didn’t fit into the room. The party host Kimberly was honestly the worst. She rushed through serving the pizza which was cold and I swear she couldn’t even be bothered to smile once! Then when SHE decided it was time to sing happy birthday she suddenly turned off all the lights without any warning! Leaving many members of our family still out in the hallway and all the kids confused. No area was even cleared on the table for the cake and my nephew (bday boy) was completely unaware of what was going on. After that disaster when the kids ran back out to continue to play bc they received cards which extended their jump time by 30 min. Kimberly thought it would be a good idea to inform my sister in front of the entire party that the kids were not allowed to jump anymore. So unprofessional! It was just a mess! My sister was then was forced to deal with the rudest manager TJ who seemed like he was being bothered just to do his job. Thankfully all the kids really enjoyed themselves and were oblivious to the happenings behind the scenes. But for the amount of money my sister paid to host her sons party there’s the experience was atrocious!! And based on some of the other reviews I’ve read we aren’t the first family to deal with this kind of treatment. Wish we would’ve read the...
Read moreI had my son’s birthday party at the port Chester location and my experience was awful! When we arrived check in was so unorganized and the staff were miserable. When it was time for the kids to jump the staff were being so rude to them. They were talking to four year olds like they were teenagers and none of them were welcoming. In my opinion if you’re going to work at a place with kids you should at the very least greet them with a smile. Thankfully there attitudes didn’t ruin the kids fun given what I paid to have a party there. When jump time was over we went to the party room where our host Kimberly was also very rude and unwelcoming. She acted as if we were getting on her nerves the entire time. She served pizza to the kids with an attitude and when it was time to sing happy birthday she turned the lights off without warning and closed family out of the room nastily. I had to then turn the lights back on and let my family back in the room (it was a mess). She then handed out the 30 minute extended jump passes to the kids and so they wanted to go play again. She told them they weren’t allowed to go jump because of their policy which doesn’t allow u to combined the 30 minute jump to a package. YOUR SITE IS NOT CLEAR ABOUT THIS AT ALL! I went to talk to a manager I was given then name TJ who acted like I was annoying him too (big surprise). His solution after I showed him the site wasn’t clear was to kick us out of the party room or he would charge me an extra 30 minutes for each kid. I then of course rushed family and friends out of the party room because the kids would’ve been super disappointed if they had to leave. This place is not cheap so to be treated the way we were was terrible. I left a tip because I have family in the service industry and she decorated the room, served the pizza, and cut the cake (all with an attitude) but I didn’t want to level with these people but I even regret leaving the tip because it was not deserved. I am so disappointed and I hope management does something about this because I’ve seen the other reviews and they all...
Read moreGreat experience at Air Riderz Adventure Park in Port Chester.
Large covered parking lot shared with other stores and shops nearby.
We used a Groupon and had no issues redeeming when visiting on a Friday morning. We were instructed to complete the waivers at the kiosks near the entrance. We did have to purchase the mandatory socks which was $18 for three (3) pairs.
Before proceeding to the play areas, we put our things in the little cubes they have for storage...i.e. shoes, bags, etc. Keep in mind these are open cubes which anyone can access. I never felt unsafe in leaving our things there...but as always, there is a risk.
It was not very crowded on a Friday morning at around 10:30am (they open at 10) so it was a pleasure navigating the space with minimal crowds. There are lots of areas to enjoy for both adults and children. The main area has trampolines as well as some interactive areas where you jump to tap buttons and two video screens where you mimic the movements on screen...both area great.
There are a few obstacle courses: ninja, balance beam, and swing pit. The basketball area is also great with a cushioned surface, two hoops, and targets where you can throw balls at.
There are two huge slides in the center which are fun.
Finally, there a "rock climbing" area with a few different climbing options. You must have the "climb" option added to your pass in order to use it though. You will be belayed during the climb. Be mindful that the gripped socks provided do NOT offer the best grip while climbing in my opinion...climbing was much more difficult that I experience in traditional rock climbing places that provide rock climbing shoes...then again, maybe it is just me.
There is a food area which sells some snacks: soft drinks, chips, candy. There are also a few tables nearby where you can eat.
Overall we had a great time here...the space was very clean and well-maintained. All staff we encountered were very nice.
Be sure to check ahead if visiting with toddlers as there are some restrictions on which areas they are...
