My fiancé and I went to T&J last night, the food was good and originally the service was good as well. We are NOT people to go and give bad reviews or say anything negative anywhere even if we do have a bad experience as we both worked in the restaurant industry for years. When leaving we got the bill (109.00) paid it and when the book came back to sign I told my fiancé i actually have cash and handed him $22.00. He puts it in the book our waiter takes it and we wrapped up our dessert, finished our drinks and started heading out. There were about 3 tables left as we were leaving and the waitress of another table comes up to us examining our table and says with an attitude did you like your service tonight? We said yes it was good! Thanks so much! And continued walking out. She then starts yelling to us in front of the whole restaurant then why didn’t you tip????!!! Myself and my fiancé were SHOCKED and so confused!! We were like what? We did tip, maybe it fell on the floor I’m not sure but we gave $22.00 cash. She continued to say no you didn’t to the point everyone is staring at us. I go up to our waiter and i say did you not see the cash?? He’s like no. They continued to hand us over the bill again and asked that we put another tip on card. I’m not one to argue however i was FUMING we put another tip on card as of the money did fall i don’t want our waiter to think he did a bad job however the woman who works there was so rude aggressive and unprofessional. I will NEVER return...
Read moreA Fantastic Evening at T & J Restaurant I just had to share my experience at this amazing Italian gem called T & J Restaurant. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top-notch.
We started off with some wine and Champagne. For appetizers, we went with the seafood salad, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful.
For our main course, we couldn't resist trying their seafood dish featuring mussels, clams, and calamari. I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. The sauce had just the right amount of flavor, and it complemented the seafood beautifully.
The staff at T & J really made our experience special. They were so warm and kind, making sure we had everything we needed and always checking in on us. It was a nice touch that added to the overall fantastic experience.
Of course, we couldn't leave without trying their homemade dessert. We opted for the sweet cream and special bread cream puffs, and oh my goodness, were they divine! The perfect way to end our meal.
I'm more than happy to give T & J Restaurant a well-deserved 5-star review, and I can't wait to go back. If you're in the mood for some delicious Italian food in a friendly and casual atmosphere, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreFrequented the old place many times loved the older women waitress and the chef Paul could really cook. Started going to the place quite different very clean and modern but just not that Italian restaurant feeling. This was my 5th visit and each time I was underwhelmed with it. For starters what is with the Spanish cowboy music. The table bread looks and taste like it came from Costco, the table olive oil heavy rancid taste. My wife ordered HOMEMADE stuffed shells loaded with mozzarella very little pot cheese and with no seasoning BLAND, sauce tasted right out of a jar. I ordered pork chop scarpariello. The old place made it one nice thick chop smothered in mushrooms, caramelized onions, sliced potatoes, cherry peppers with crumbled sausage. It came with two skinny chops that were dry and tasteless, with mush sliced potatoes, sliced bell pepper and some mystery gravy UNEATABLE. Sent it back reordered friend calamari very good. My wife a very nice person had them wrap it up for take home, which will get tossed in garbage. One last thing if do go and the waiter is a heavy set bald guy I think his name is Nick he is the insult...
