The Local Center for Arts and Culture — Attraction in Town of Saugerties

This space has been here for years as the very modestly priced "John Street Jam." Local musicians, donated homemade refreshments for sale. The couple that put it on retired, the chapel was sold and nicely renovated. It is now a small, very beautiful music and art space. Once in a while they still have a "jam" (4-5 musicians playing in rotation in the room center, the audience all around them) but most shows are a musician or group performing or an art show (marvelous as a gallery space).
