Warning ! HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERCVICE - Like worst ever! Visiting Saugerties for New Year's Eve. We wanted to order out local, as anywhere we go we try and support local. Order attempt #1. We order a bunch of food including a lamb dish. The person who took our order even asked how we want the lamb cooked and we responded. I went and picked up the food and brought it home. No lamb, my dinner was missing. I called the restaurant and the owner answers the phone and says they don't have Lamb. I told her we just ordered the lamb, and she said "No you didn't, we would have told you we don't have it if you did" HAVE A NICE NEW YEAR and hung up the phone on me. I had to call back to tell her I still need to order food since I have no dinner. She could have at least apologized and asked if I wanted something different. So I went ahead and ordered a burger. My wife also called in concurrently to order a new meal for my son, the children's burger, because his macaroni and cheese was iced cold and disgusting (I tried it, and it made him nauseous) . So I drove back to the restaurant to pick it all up, paid for my food, took the bag and left. I got home and again NO CHILDRENS BURGER. When we attempted to call back from my wife's phone they would not pick up the phone. When I called hack from my phone they hung up the phone on me 3X before finally picking up. Then the owner says for us not to call back again because we have been so rude to them. Thanks for the Un- HAPPY NEW YEAR. Magic mushrooms and curry soup was gross. This is a photo of the soup. I had one spoonful and this is how much was left. Like they barely even gave me any.... The only thing good about the place is I got to re-connect with an old friend, and hear "Friend of the devil" performed quite quite appropriate as this old friend was friends...

Stopped by for lunch on a whim and by chance, found a gem of a restaurant with a funky bohemian interior that belies the well thought out gourmet offerings that are made fresh and prepared when you place your order. For example, I first started out by ordering the pumpkin coconut curry soup which I assumed would come out quickly as most places have it already made for serving; after waiting 10 mins. or so, I asked the waitress if I could get my soup before my entree and was told that it would be ready shortly as it was being made fresh from scratch, the soup arrived with toasted focaccia and it was a delight for the palate with a hint of cinnamon, sesame oil and nutmeg that makes this soup a winner! Suffice to say, my lobster mac n cheese was made with 3 different cheeses and topped with a generous amount of bread crumbs and was out of this world. My daughter had the pork belly sandwich which she says was scrumptious. They offer a large selection of tap/microbrew beers, wines and specialty cocktails; they also have tasty vegan choices as well. Our waitress was a recent transplant from Staten Island and she was so friendly and helpful, I recommend this restaurant highly and definitely will return in the...

My daughter and I were in town for the horse show, and for a quaint artsy town we were a bit disappointed with the availability of vegan food (one can only eat so many plain salads and falafel burgers ๐Ÿ˜•)... until we found this place! Awesome vegan options - crafted salads, unique pasta, magic mushrooms, disco fries, mac & cheese... all with vegan versions. Once we ate here my daughter didn't want to go anyplace else for the rest of the stay (and really, neither did I). Service was at times a bit slow but they were clearly busy and clearly everything is made to order... so perfectly happy to wait a bit for perfection! (If you want fast food... go to a fast food place). They even brought out activities to keep my daughter busy during one visit. The live music was great. Drink menu fantastic! We're coming back in the fall and will be sure to make a reservation every night. Vegan or not, you are missing out if you visit Saugerties without...

Many Vegan options which was a big plus! Fun decor! Chairs made out of guitars! Loved Sunburst garden salad with jerk tempeh!! Also, edamame & tamarind potstickers very tasty. Disco fries could have been hotter & crispier. Should have brought to table right out of fryer!! Vegan chili, vegan Mac & cheese, magic mushrooms good. Grass-fed beef burger okay. For the price, it should have been outstanding. Lacked seasoning, I guess. Vegan strawberry ice cream tasty. All & all very nice experience for our group of 3. Super friendly bartender/ waitress with red hair. Very enjoyable listening to music! Would go again & try other dishes. Thank you

Loved this place! We had wings and loaded fries as an app which were both great. We got chicken Alfredo and fried chicken for our main course which were also great- chicken was cooked very well. I had a mocktail which was awesome for someone who doesnโ€™t drink anymore! And an amazing caramel cheesecake to top it off. On top of that all, one of the servers ran out with my disposable camera that I left behind (which pictures from our proposal on it) so 5 stars all around!!!
