I visited this store on 7/23/2023 to make a online curbside pick up for daughter. We entered pickup spot #2 and depressed the link on my phone and provided the requested information. The response to this action action informed me that someone was on their way to deliver our pickup order. After ten minutes, I decided to enter the store to find out the status of the pickup order. I assumed that they were shorthanded like many stores to day. When I entered the near empty store, there two young clerks were behind the counter with no customers. When I inquired about the status of the order, the young male clerk looked at me with a puzzled look on his face. He immediately directed me to the online pick up order area. The clerk found the order and handed it to me without checking my phone for the appropriate QR code. Apparently the two lessons were learned: 1. the curbside pick up process is online order does not function in this store and 2. there is no security in place on the disbursement of pick up orders. I was little disappointed in the treatment at the store and wanted management to be aware of this customer service failure.
On 11/7/2023 we had happened to open one of the products we ordered. We delayed in opening the package because it was going to be used in a classroom and there was no need to open the box. When we opened the box, we discovered that (3) of the (5) drawers were damaged. We contacted Michael’s to report the damage and ask what the company can do to compensate us for the damage. They were quick to notify us that nothing could be done. This is absolutely the worse customer service. Do not expect anything from Michael’s that even resembles great customer service. Based on our experience, I recommend that no none...
Read moreThe store was the worst MichEl's experience I've ever had. Someone from Corporate in charge of merchandising needs to visit and school the mgmt of this location. To properly display Michael's products. It looks like the current objective is to put the entire inventory on display. In order to boost sales? Ithe products are out on the floor butane not a esthetically displayed. As a disabled person, I experienced difficulty in finding what I came to purchase. Looking for holiday themed stickers for a card project, there was no designated section for stickers. And when I asked an employee, she simply pointed in a direction a few aisles away. Indicating to me even she wasn't sure where I could find them and sure enough as I headed in the direction. There were no signs yo guide me and ultimately I found some (Very few) stickers on a random rack among craft items such as baskets and Christmas ornaments. I have never been in such a disorganized and poorly laid out Michael's Store, it was sad. And not a pleasant...
Read morePens. The right ones aren't easy to find. Each brand/size combination embodies a special spot in a spectrum of nuance that spans a variety of characteristics. Getting the right combination of all these variables and a solid drawing experience out of a pen produces a feeling one just can't overstate. It's positively glorious.
Michael's is always half out of pens, and hasn't replenished what they've run out of in months, the slots for the ones I cherish and yearn for perpetually vacant. Lonely with darkness they sit day and night, in this forlorn gulag, stripped of purpose. I cry. We cry together, me and the empty slot.
It yearns to give me what I desire, and I yearn for its internal fulfillment. That's love, people. We cry in memory of slots once teeming with joy, as artists walked about satisfied with armloads of precisely what they need rather than heads fouled by frustration. But no more. Emptiness remains. That is...
