Sleep and Spas - Kingston — Hotel in Town of Ulster

My wife and I were looking for a replacement mattress for our aging one and went into Sleep and Spas in Kingston for a look. We met Jim and he walked us through each type of mattress they sell, and gave us some valuable advice as well as taking his time with us. We tried out a few mattresses and settled on one we both liked. There was no pressure on the sales front, just solid advice and information so helpful it was key to our decision, and as it happens, ultimate enjoyment. After we settled on the type of bed we wanted, we talked with Jim about a spa. This was a wish list item for us, and something we knew nothing about generally. Thankfully Jim knew as much about hot tubs as he did about the bed selection at the store. We spoke again about what would fit our family best, including operational costs, and overall affordability. As it turned out both the mattress and tub were doable for us so we eventually pulled the trigger and ordered both! We didn't purchase both that day, and there was no pressure to do so. We went home, made a plan, figured out the logistics (hot tub placement etc) and went back to make the purchase. When we made the purchase we met Eric the owner, and he couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. As it turned out our scheduled delivery date had to be changed due to inclement weather, but that didn't stop them from coming through for us. They ended up delivering everything (mattress, frame, and spa) on a Sunday so we were all home. To our surprise Eric, the owner showed up with our delivery, and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. These guys know what their doing, and treated our house like their own. They went above and beyond for us, and we were assured once again that we made the right choice in where to buy BOTH items. Quality sleep and relaxation are highly underrated, and now we're sleeping better and can look forward to a nice soak at the end of a tough day. Luxury level experience, store space and customer service.

The store is far nicer than any other mattress store I’ve been in, and the owner Eric and manager John are both very attentive and knowledgeable. We got a new King size mattress and Eric worked with his team to get us expedited same day delivery! Our mattress protector didn’t arrive in time, so when we followed up Eric had one sent to us to use so we wouldn’t have to risk anything happening to our new purchase.

Unfortunately we made too quick of a decision and got something that didn’t work for us (ended up being too soft) so when I called to see what we could do they agreed to let us exchange it even though we had gotten a floor model which normally can’t be returned or exchanged. We are still waiting for the new mattress which we hope will arrive soon but in the meantime we appreciate the peace of mind knowing we have the...

We had recently moved and were looking to get split king bed. Eric was amazing in helping us! We got split king mattresses from wellsville (14 in latex hybrid), split king adjustable bases from Malouf and the carlisle bed frame/headboard. The mattresses are the most comfortable that we've slept on our entire life! The frame is sturdy & well built and adjustable base is helpful when taking naps (in zero gravity), and watching/reading things in bed. The massage feature is so-so given that we have 14 in mattresses which limit how much of the vibrations pass thru. You'll need 2+ people to put together the frame + adjustable base - my partner and I were able to do this on our own, but in hindsight, I would rather have gotten professional assembly and save myself the back pain (the adjustable bases are HEAVY!!).
