Brought my tower there on a friend'srecommendation, it was overheating. I wanted to know why. I paid them their 60$ first hour fee and left it. In a couple days they called me back and said we found the problem... it's overheating. You can come pick it up. I'm like that's what I brought it in for, so you really haven't told me anything. Is it the cpu, the motherboard,... maybe the liquid cooling system? Is that working? The message the tech left said they don't see many cooling systems like that so he's not really familiar w it. When I got him on the phone he's saying I need a new CPU and/or motherboard, there's no way to tell which unless and until he changes both. But I don't even see why I would guess at those unless you can tell me for sure the liquid cooling core is working fine, or anything about it, like it's full and pumping or the cpu has plenty of grease...I didn't bother asking. I thought for sure when I complained to the lady on the phone, she wouldn't charge me... but nope, I paid 60$ for them to repeat back my symptoms to me. Also they tell me they don't source any parts so if I wanna fix it, I track down all that as well. Sooo...
Read moreI went to replace my iPhone 7 battery and they said it’d be 60+ dollars. I said alright because I just quickly wanted it done. Then I did research after and found out that Apple would have done it for me for 40 dollars and it would have been an official apple battery. My iPhone had a SIM card issue that was free to repair because it was a recall. When the iPhone came back from Apple they even replaced the battery for free as well because they just didn’t like the battery that this company put in it. Another thing is, I asked this company if they put a waterproof seal back on and they said you can’t replace it as soon as it’s broken. When it’s open it’s open. But the truth is if I just bought a 20 dollar kit off of amazon I could have also bought a literal 2 dollar or less waterproof seal for it too. The matter of the fact is it didn’t feel like they actually knew about the phone and the battery they got me died just as quick as the old one. The only thing it seemed to have done is give my battery health 100% but even Apple said they didn’t like it. And the new Apple battery lasts way longer now....
Read moreI was first introduced to 607 Tech Solutions because I broke my cell phone screen... twice (apparently, I have what my therapist refers to as "temper problems" - whatever that means). Of course, they did a great job fixing my phones working through Asurion insurance.
A little while later, I brought my son's Nintendo Switch to them because there were some hardware issues (I can confirm that his temper is a problem as well), and they did a great job fixing that with a fast turnaround.
Recently, after I tried - and failed - at least two dozen times, no exaggeration, to fix my wife's iPad since she forgot the passcode (but let's be honest, we're pretty much all guilty of that, right?). I couldn't get anything to work, and was losing faith in recovering it. Finally, I brought it to them, and no joke - within the hour - they had it fixed and ready for me.
If you're looking to get your electronics fixed, look no further than 607 Tech Solutions. My experience is perhaps anecdotal, but I have yet to find a more reliable, knowledgeable, and affordable option...
