Dress Your Fancy, LLC — Attraction in Town of Vestal

Well, now that I have finally picked my veil up and tired of fighting here's my experience this was a roller coaster and I don't recommend using the designer Debra Moreland. I purchased my dress through dress your fancy May of 2021; and I had received my dress and it was absolutely perfect and my consultant was amazing with me! I loved my consultant but I had booked to go in for the Trunk show for accessories in February of 2022. My wedding date was set for July 2, 2022. I had only purchased a veil that day and put a required deposit down; My veil was a custom designed veil by their designer Debra Moreland; the veil had customized hearts and was hand painted. The letters for the hearts was checked multiple times by multiple consultants which were in the left heart A+K and in the right MSG. Shortly after purchasing my veil I had personal things happen and called my wedding off. I informed the store and ask that the left heart just be empty is possible which they told me could be done. My veil arrived in May of 2022; and the veil was completely wrong; not even close to the letters. It had NH in both hearts; I was told it would be sent back and corrected. I had informed the store I still wanted to be treated as bride and have my veil by the original day and corrected. I had called the store multiple times and got very little updates on the veil and the correction. My veil then did not show up until end of September beginning of October of 2022. My veil was essentially 3 MONTHS late. The veil was correct when it showed up finally. The store STILL charged me full price; even though if my wedding hadn't been called off my veil would NOT have been here for it. The designer is at fault she refused to take responsibility for HER MISTAKE. I didn't expect to not pay at all but a small discount would have been appreciated. The store gave me a 10% discount the DAY of the trunk show for purchasing that day in Feb. of 2022 but refused to further discount the veil that was once again 3 months late. I am disappointed in the designer because I had a great dress experience and I was treated great every time I went into the store but at the end of the day my veil was 3...

Taylor was my bridal consultant. She made the whole experience memorable and no pressure to make a decision quickly. I had a lot of questions about alterations because I’m planning on wearing flats for the wedding and also wanted the tops lined to avoid sheerness for my church ceremony. Taylor would ask for her coworker’s expertise on how my requests would be fulfilled to ensure she gave me the most accurate information if she was unsure about a certain designer’s alteration accommodations. I loved how excited she was for me and I felt so comfortable, she was patient with my mom who would sometimes get up and go look at more dresses. She always brought them back to me. She made a “like” pile so that I could go back to them at the end and she was even helpful deciding if I needed to try them on again or if something else had caught my eye. She wouldn’t pull anything over my budget, even if it was just a few dollars over because she wanted to respect my budget. If I had picked something, she would look at the price to see how much over the dress was and ask for my permission to pull it (when I said no, she showed no judgement and respected that I didn’t want to fall in love with something that I can’t afford). I came into the store with what I thought was an impossible request and Hannah and Dress Your Fancy made it happen effortlessly. I highly recommend you visit this bridal store. I'd originally purchased a wedding dress at a different store. That other store accidentally resold my dress, leaving me without a dress TWO months before my wedding. I was crying, panicked, and feeling hopeless. I went to every store in my area to find a dress, but nothing made me feel beautiful or replaced my original dress until Hannah of Dress Your Fancy saved my wedding. Hannah and the staff of Dress Your Fancy went above and beyond to find me tons of dress options to choose from to fit my plus size body. Hannah found dresses that could be delivered quickly (seriously, within a week of purchase which is unheard of!) and paid close attention to my style, making sure that every dress was tailored to my wedding vision. When I got there she was so prepared that we found my perfect wedding dress in her first round picks. She didn't pressure me to buy anything I was uncomfortable with, took the time to listen to me, interacted so well with my guest, and I can't explain how special and comfortable I felt with her help.
