This business deserves 0 stars. I am so disgusted. I live in WI and wanted to do something nice for my mother in NY as a difficult anniversary was approaching. The day before I needed the flowers delivered- I ordered them. My folks do not live far from the place so I figured it would be no big deal. The day of delivery- I reach out to my dad to see if the flowers had been delivered - he said they had not and it was 330pm.

I called the business and the woman that picked up was not friendly. She accused me of giving the wrong address so she asked me to confirm it. The address was correct. The woman went on to say that the delivery driver rang the door bell twice and left a note- no one answered the door. The driver then called the number listed- no one picked up. I was pretty suspicious since I knew my parents did not have a door bell. They also live in a small one level ranch- would be very unlikely for them not to hear someone at their door… I told the woman that the flowers needed to be delivered today and that my folks were home. She said the best they could do was Monday- I asked for a refund (why pay $100 for four day old flowers?!?!?). She said no as they had already made the arrangement and tried to deliver it so they had time invested. Fine. I hung up.

I called my folks and asked if they had not been home. They said they were home. I asked if there was a note on the door- no note on any exterior door. My mother did miss a call (she was painting on a ladder and could not get down in time). The caller left no voicemail- my mother assumed it was spam. I asked my mother to call the number and organize delivery (not something I wanted her to do on a day I knew she was going to be upset). The woman my mother spoke to was pleasant and apologized for the mix up- she stated they would deliver the flowers first on their Monday route- to expect them around 11. Disappointing but fine.

Fast forward to today and by 1:00pm the flowers still had not arrived. My mother called - now irritated because she had made sure to sit by the door as to not miss them again. My mom spoke to a woman that said they would refund my money and the conversation ended after that. No flowers to commemorate the death anniversary for a loved one.

Normally I always have a positive experience at Kittleberger's. Unfortunately today was an exception. I drove from 2 towns over (with my mother) to use a monthly subscription card purchased through a fundraiser. I understand that the flowers offered through this subscription may be flowers not quite up to par, like flowers used for normal bouquets. Which is fine. However the associate we checked out with tried to give us an arrangement with roses that had brown lined petals that were wilted. & tried to tell us that it's the natural features of the flower. Now we've all seen roses before, & know how they're supposed to appear. & they're not supposed to be brown & wrinkled. There were at least 3 different arrangement options with different colors of roses. & instead of showing us all the options, she tried to push the one with flowers that weren't the greatest. My Mom pointed this out & asked if we could have another arrangement. The associate at the counter begrudgingly offered us another one, & after this rude encounter we made our way out. I wouldn't complain, & I would understand if it was late in the day. But it was around 1pm, & we were pretty much the only people checking out. Kittelberger Florist absolutely nailed my wedding! Lisa was incredible from day one. I was a little hesitant at first as pricing was a tad higher than what I had wanted to pay. However, Lisa was able to work with me to change up some of the flowers I preferred in order to get the cost closer to my budget. Although I had spent more than expected, it was 1000% worth it. The compliments I received about the stunning arrangements made me so happy. I have attended three weddings since mine and truly feel like I got my money’s worth and that my bouquets and arrangements were extremely full and well put together. Lisa helped incorporate a piece of cloth given to me from my great grandmother in my bouquet which was perfect. Lisa’s team had my venue set up in the morning so I had nothing to stress about. I was stunned how beautiful the room was. Lisa saw my vision from day one and exceeded my expectations. I didn’t feel like I needed to follow up with her and felt beyond confident with her work. I cannot thank her enough for all her help to make my wedding day perfect. Her team had ended up with a few items of mine after the wedding when they picked up the vases and she was able to mail everything back to me. Thanks for going above and beyond!
